Wise words indeed.

I have another question.

Regarding moving the right end of the trend lines.

We move the right of a trend line ONLY on formation of a three pin bar fractal either up or down otherwise the trend line stays with the previous 3 bar fractal.

Ive put fractals on this chart pic attached and was wondering if this is an option to easily identify the placement. I've moved the lines on this chart up or down to end up where they are as seen (I know you don't like indicators)!

Ralffe would you mind checking USDCHF?

Should we consider a short entry next?

Ralffe, I red and understood all.

Questions:

Is there a specific logic why drawing trendlines this way brings 90% profitable trades?

Is there a specific name for these sort of trend lines?

Thanks Brath but if you can check post 245, Ralffe drew a different line from bottom @usdchf suggesting a long entry. I need an evaluation from that drawing till now.

If you are confident enough to evaluate, I’ll be happy to see it.

Thanks.

Hi birpinar, if i may... your chart is valid but the short trade becomes valid if and only if a new bar is formed without the trend line crossing it , which means you have to wait till the next bar is formed and closes

I understand what you are saying, but when it comes to trading Daily Time frames, the StopLosses tend to get quite large for someone with a small account. If you risk 2% per trade, it's going to take a ton of pips to make any money. That was my original question ... how can someone who has a small account make money trading the Daily Time Frame? 2% of $5000 is $100. Risking $100 on the Daily is probably 20 or 30 pips at most. Pretty slim ... no? That's all I'm asking.

For someone with a small account, 200 pips would amount to maybe $100. LOL ... sounds like a lot of pips, but there's more to this than just pips.

Some of you may be getting tired of my comments, but LOT SIZE plays a big role in this. I took a trade risking 2% and my lot size, based on how many pips to StopLoss, was .08. $.30 or $.40 per pip! That's what I'm saying. Don't get me wrong. I love the system ... I love the simplicity. I need a bigger bankroll, and I was hoping that forex might be the way to get one.

Hi,

you can use cent account, and you will not have any problem with the % of the risk, even with small capital.
Cheers,
Mirko

Hello,

thanks Ralffe, this system is very nice and the simplicity makes it great. I found today you thread (i used to read a lot of forexfactory in the past, but in this last period actually i felt i couldn't find anything that suits me) and I feel excited since long time of apathy. So, thanks again, i started to draw my trendlines, still have some problem, but i will wait one day more to make questions regarding them.
If I understand well, we use hard stop loss in order to be always protected, and if for example we are short, we put the SL above the last swing high, but when there is a candle that break the trendline, and the next one close above the trendline we close the short trade, and in the meantime we open a long trade, am I right?

I attatch a screenshot, just to know if I am doing well.

Cheers,
Mirko

You've got the lines right but as for fractals, I don't know anything about them. The lines work fine moved from wave to wave
