KISS = Keep it Simple Stupid

I used this system for about a year now, after trying so so many mechanical and intuition systems, I said it's simple, so I'm gonna crack it into (X) simple steps:

1. Set your 15M, 1H, 4H charts containing (Price Chart, RSI 14, Slow Stochastic, Bollinger Bands)

2. Draw a trendline on the RSI (on all charts, usually considering 1H the most)

(lower slope RSI trendline results in higher accuracy rates)

3. When RSI breaks the trendline with at least one completed bar, the direction is confirmed, the price will follow the RSI direction shortly or after some bars (usually 5-10)

4. Use the Stochastic Oscillator on the 15M chart just to fine-tune the entry.

5. Bollinger Bands and Fibos are used as supportive add-ins to assure the direction.

6. Stoploss: (50 pips), target: (40 to 100+) pips

Notes:

* I've tested this system on almost 500 live trades, and it resulted in almost 80% accuracy

* Try doing a hindsight analysis, so you can get an overview of how it works.

* It involves some little part of intuition (or maybe market sense)

* Will show examples later today.

Hi Meedo,

The RSI trendline is different on all timeframes and breaks at a different time (it seems).

Do I understand you to give preference to the 1H?

Thanks

Gee,
My broker has run me out of business on that pair.
IBFX has raised the spread to 11-20 pips.

Clarification. when you mean trend lines do you mean levels or what? when I setup my RSI it justs draws the squiggly line, is that what you mean by the trend line, or what. can you post pictures so we can see what you are talking about?

Most times RSI breaks the trendline at the same point on every timeframe, because you've drawn the trendline to the same major troughs or peaks at the same prices...

I prefer 1H trendlines breakouts, because it's much safer than the 15M, and if you waited for a complete bar on the 4H chart, that might mean some pips lost till you have a signal...

But, I refer to the 4H to make sure if the trend is going to continue "Cut your losses, and let your profits RUN"...

As you can see in the last chart, Stochastic settings are the default ones, given that I use exponential method instead of simple.

I once used a system with 9 indicators, whenever 5 are heading together, I would enter...

So, I might call this system simple...

OK, we've broken the trendline.

Now show us how you enter using the 15M stochastic.

Thanks

I hope this snapshot is clarifying enough, trendline 1's slope is less the trendline 2, you'll notice pips are much more after 1's breakout, you can't be sure of that if there's only trendline 2...
