Here some people are complaining about getting 1%-2% less due to FX rate. Many got absolutely nothing yet.

Hey,,,just got an email from the Alpari admins people saying I owe them £2,800.

This is no way very fair, why didn't my trades stop when my account reached zero or minus £1 why at minus £2,800.

No one has said anything to me other than this emails full of gobbledygook and this email and the amount has been given over to debt collectors.

What THE **** are they playing at?

There was a discussion on 'Brokers chasing you for negative balance' on this forum around the time KPMG announced they'd be coming for debts. Quite a few brokers (FXPro, Oanda and some others) made a good decision in forgiving negative balances because the SNB event was so surreal. Others however decided to hold the clients responsible and are coming after them for the money.

I have no advice as to what you could do to help yourself in this situation but maybe someone else does?

Sorry to hear that.

However you choose an ECN broker, they just can't close positions, they have to access the market and when they can't there is nothing they can do.

i chose to get my money back from FSCS ,they said they will contact me,but nothing happen so far after 5 months.
anybody know whats going on?

I chose to open, an account in the ETX Capital, but until now I have not received my money. Is there anybody has the same case? Should I have to do anything to accelerate the procedure of payment?

i chose fscs and telephoned them last week if i am on the list for payment...they said no despite that i have agreed to claim on the claims portal...i was told to write and email to them and they will send me additional form and than i should be on the list...i was told that i will get email this week, nothing so far...for all who did not get anything, phone them...

Same here, plus, my negarive balance was in EUR but now they ask the money in GBP but it is not clear which exchange rate they used, the only sure thing is that it is a very unfair exchange rate
