Today’s markets channel frequently and we seem to be inundated with major announcements and widely anticipated news events weekly. Sometimes it’s easier to trade where you think the markets won’t go, rather than to try to guess where the markets will go. In this video we will cover the basics of selling an option in the forex. We’ll show you how selling an out of the money option, using the GBP/USD as a case study, is a great way to trade where you think prices won’t go.

I always try to chase it in the right direction, and getting the right direction could be more and more accurate.

So, yes, we'll get there some day!

AN IRISH BLONDE IN A CASINO

An attractive blonde from Cork, Ireland arrived at a casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty-thousand Euros on a single roll of the dice.

She said, 'I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude.

With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, 'Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!'

As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed...'YES! YES! I WON, I WON!'

She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.

The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded.
Finally, one of them asked, 'What did she roll?'

The other answered,
'I don't know - I thought you were watching.'

MORAL OF THE STORY--
Not all Irish are drunks,
not all blondes are dumb, but all men...are men.

Hey chonchy if you want to know how someone trades just click on their name and a list of all their posts will pop up. You may have to sift through a little to get to the gold but it will be there. You may also wish to find other respected traders on these forums and do the same with them, as I do. It's surprising what we can learn this way and a lot easier than someone trying to explain their strategy to you in one post. Of course, not many traders admit their mistakes but they are sometimes easy to spot. Also, sometimes the best traders post a few times and don't get the respect they deserve or expect - often shouted down by the yahoos and so they move on. Not surprising, really. PM me if you want a list of names I respect. I won't post this publicly for fear of missing someone important or the order being wrong!

Sorry to point out this if you already do it. It has helped me become a more mature trader, so I thought I'd mention it.

I have a buy order in place for EUR/CHF for 100 lots @ 1.5025. Going to gamble that the SNB will intervene and I will make out like a bandit for about 200 pips or so. It like's rolling the dice at a casino but I like the odds playing the forex game.

I can't help thinking there's an element of truth in this post. Do you work for the SNB? If you do you are under arrest.

Alco results pushing stocks, futures up / dollar down...

Gold putting new all-time high after new all-time high. Is it the end of the dollar? Maybe. Are we worried about it? Maybe. Does a cold beer kill our worries? Definitely

Long dow, long Bovespa, long long long... Dow 10k, Bovespa 70k, here we go...

But Euro must crack 1.4850 otherwise it might put a double top, targeting 1,40 (when / if 1.4450 lost)...

I think UJ's gonna lose 88 soon...
