Entered again on the same candle that took my stop from previous trade.

Woke up and saw it had dropped to just above the demand zone and closed out
to make up for previous 2 losses today.

Going nowhere real slow at the moment.

It is such an amazing battle within to keep a strategy "simple" and to stay with what works.

I started using this strategy from July 2015 based on what I had learned from the Simple Market Flow Trading system
but due to all the things I've learned over time I keep trying to complicate it or over-analyse it.

When I came across this strategy, as with each new strategy I discover, I always feel a sense of , "beginner's mind" which is a lovely place to be.

But over time all the old demons start creeping in and I get more and more confused.

The battle continues .....

Looking to change my Entry style up to really focus on getting much higher R:R.

Went for a 1-2-3 entry after new Low was made on 1st hourly bar of London session.

Trade was taken just above DFB line so area was good too.

After taking a 2nd loss looking for a BUY on this pair finally price turned.
Price moved all the way down to retest the previous weekly high (3rd time this week) and the 1.32 RN
Exited at strongly broken previous day's low.

New Daily Fractal High has formed so this pair off the watchlist for now

One of the thing you will see with my trading is the use of different Time Frames. Why? I am of the opinion that Smart Money operates is all Time Frames. Yes they may be more inclined to operate in the higher Time Frame.. But how do you explain very obvious Supply Demand or Support Resistance and High Relative activity. Smart Money are the only group that move a market of this size.. especially during the slower session as we see. Retail traders simply cannot.

So using this logic i look to different TF's.. so with Market Flow I would be looking not only at the 1 HR but 4HR, 30M.. even 15 to see if on can see "obvious" area of interest. Then ask yourself..If I trade from here is there enough room to make a 2:1 or 3:1 RR. what is in the way.. Other SD or SR level..are they significant or minor..Higher TF are always stronger but you need to know what the smaller TF will do so as to not get shaken out of a trade. Where is the pressure???

again, I think Market flow is a very sound method. But if we see the pressure to the upside but we are taking a Fractal break to the down side.. maybe thats not the optimum trade. Wind in our back or wind in you face idea....

I tend to trade a lot back to a obvious SD level out of the range. Why.. because the level ( obvious and never being touched ) tend to be price magnets..Price seems to want to return..Why? it is an area where Smart Money took off..The reason for the level in the first place..A lengthy discussion to be sure.. but that basics are that.

Anyway.. just some ideas that work for me..

Yes, it really does help TSD. A few years ago when I was really getting into S & D over at RTM I often struggled with jumping all over the place with timeframes
but it feels like I now have a nice framework to work from and as long as I keep my charts clean and trade with my market flow I'm certain I'll start making much better trades at stronger areas.

1st trade on the GBP CAD today and I was late to the party. Missed my 1-2-3 entry but chose to take a sell on an hourly close below
the DFB. Tried to hide my Stop behind an M5 Fresh Supply but was taken out by a fraction of a pip.

Just after I saw my Stop taken on my 1st trade price seemed to start dropping away again so moved to an M30 chart
and took a Sell off of a Fresh Supply rejection. Stop went above this zone.

Solid CAD GDP data helped the trade quickly move into profit and closed out happy to to luck out on this one.
