Hi tradeforlife. Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.

Yes, I'm definitely "trying" to follow Supply/Demand and S/R Flip concepts as far as I can understand them.

I've spent some time here on FF and other sites reading about those concepts. It hasn't all stuck and I'm still confused about many of the things I've tried to study, but I think I've simplified enough of the basic concepts for me to be able to use them in my own live trading.

I draw all of my own boxes that I think are important areas and then I will use flat trendlines (dashed) for possible support or resistance lines.
My main thing is keeping my chart as simple as possible so I can actually see how price is flowing on the chart.

This one had a nice DFB on Wednesday with very weak bearish impulse on the pullback.

I wasn't around for the railway tracks on the 1st pullback to the break out area but took a double pin
bar early on Thursday's trading.

Rode this up until I saw the bulls seemed to be losing the strength to go any further in the current move.

This is my biggest brain fart trade so far. I entered way before the candle had even closed (it was looking so bullish at the time )

Nothing was really confirming this trade and the real signal came 7 hours later while I was sleeping.

Even monkeys fall from their trees.

Sunny is there a reason why you show your trades so late? Most of the ones you post about are two weeks old, the last one doesn't even appear to be on your trade explorer?

Hi Kraven. Thank you for your interest, I sincerely mean that.

I'm slowly trying to catch up on all the trades I've taken this month so that's why they are a little late. I really enjoy looking at my trades again after a few weeks have passed just to see if I can see anything different.

Also, my explorer is currently disconnected as I had to use a new investor password when I signed up for MyFxBook and, of course, I didn't write down the new password not thinking that I would need it for FF. I'm in the process of talking to my broker to find out what it is.

Then, pretty soon I'll be up to date.

Pretty straight forward trade this one and I'm now trying to do some further analysis using volume instead of PZ Impulse.

Obviously closed the trade too early on this one and will look to see if I can find a way to hold onto these trades longer
by perhaps opening 2 positions, where I could bank some pips at 1:1 risk and try and let the 2nd position run.

New trade 1st up on Monday. Think I was just a little frustrated on missing some pips on this pair from last Thursday / Friday.
Took a Frankfurt HOur pin bar basically rejecting nothing.

Just got stopped out before price went back down to the bottom.

Took this sell on a rejection of the DFB area on Tuesday late in the Tokyo session.

Price just went sideways from there and I got out close to my entry.

Best trade would have been the following day on a small rejection at the origin of last Friday's DFB move.

The DFB on Monday seemed quite solid with good seller participation and I was eager to find a trade on a return to this area.

Seeing an Asian session pin bar rejecting this area on low volume I decided to set my entry at the top of this wick. My thoughts were that the bar would probably
get taken out and then move quickly in my direction.

Well the bar did get taken out but price moved much further than I anticipated. Stop just missed on getting taken out and was happy to get some
small profit the following day.

Ah, so I see. It's a hard game to crack that's for sure but I'll keep going with money I can afford to lose! What risk reward are you typically aiming for?

So far most of my trades average out a little over 1:1. I'm not actually setting a hard target like 1:2 as that would be a bit arrogant of me to try and impose my will on the market. So I just try and "listen" to the market and get out at logical areas such as prior support or resistance or a daily ADR target etc.

Saying that, I'm toying with the idea of opening 2 positions (1%) risk each and automatically shutting 1 at 1:1 and trying to let the other run until something tells
me to close it. Still a work in progress that one.

Sunny you may benefit from the 'free trade' method of R:R. Basically take half when you reach 1:1, leave stop where it is and let it run.

what i like to do is remove between 50 and 80% at a given target often 1:1.5 and let the rest run, at every big price run i then move my stops to positive.

Daily had a nice DFB with above average volume which also coincided with an upsloping trend line break.
So I was pretty happy taking what I thought was a rejection of the DFB area. Wasn't the greatest of H1 price action signals I'll admit.

Turned out price just kept on climbing back up and obviously faked me out.

Price is of course sideways at the moment and is forming a bit of a wedge so I will need to follow this pair
as the move (when it happens) could be nice.
