Hi My Friend, maybe you can try the steps just like in post 9.
1. open your new MT4 release
2. Select File / Open Data Folder
3. Open with explorer (new windows) your Indicators back up folder
4. Copy/Move your Indicator Name (EX4) to your new MT4 Open Data Folder
5. Confirm Windows (select Yes) when asking to
6. Restart your new MT4 platform.

But, if your old EX4 Indicators code contain 'preserve' words that use by new MT4 command set, then maybe you can't use it anymore and you should ask creator of that Indicators to re-write the MQ4 files to 'fit' with this new MT4.. lol, indeed this is nightmare..

Yup... I knew it. MT4 Platform destroyed All. Does I was give the WARNING in my Post#12 ?
These BIG CHANGES for MT4 Platform techno ! Like Windows XP migration to Windows VISTA.

The Solution if you want still want use MT Platform build 509 is Download again MT4 Platform your Broker again...
And then Re-Install your Computer with CLEAN Install Windows (if your OS Computer use Windows)
If you found MT4 Platform will Update, don't accept ! I found many Broker didn't give MT4 Platform AUTO Updates.
This is Worked before the Date time MT4 Program Update build 574 only... maybe

You have limited time for TODAY and TOMORROW only. B'cause Brokers will Update their Website.
They will be officially released (due to Latest News) on February 1.
They are not going to work with the Current MT Platform build 509 again ! :nerd:

Back Up your DATA and INDICATORS (more Important .mq4 file) to Flash Disc or EXTERNAL Hard Disc ; follow Kiads advice's.
NOTICE : don't ever put in the same place Hard Disc your MT4 Platform used for TRADE !

Not ONLY your Case... but Our case as Trader used MT4 Platform
Just wait a few days longer residence time ! We're start from Earlier the NEW MT4 Platform techno...

very appreciated answer. Made everything but Heiken Ashi doesn't work. Also strange there are no customized indicators in the folder. Thank you. Best regards.

All The Indicators files goes to <data folder>\MQL4\Indicators as explained in post 8.

I suggest keep your Custom indicators still in Old Place MT4 build 509 & make it BACK UP in 'Safe Place' like Flash Disc / External Hard Disc.

And then after MT4 Platform auto update finish, move it All your Custom indicators in 'New Location'
If you found Custom indicators not Work. You still have a Back Up in your Custom indicators in 'Safe Place'

These IMPORTANT ; B'cause I worried could be damage... so it can't be recovered.
And remember, New MT4 Platform have got New COMPILE too different with MT4 build 509.

MT4 Build 600

Ladies and gentlemen. I found this while Googling for information on new upgrade of MT4 following posts on the Sonic R. System thread by those that upgraded and fell victim to problem of indicators and templates not functioning. I hope it is the solution. If anyone does find that this is the solution, or finds what is the solution, please also post that information here. Thank you, TAH.

I found this information:

1. Load up V.600
2. In MT4, go to File>Open Data Folder>MQL4. There you will see the folders to load up, EAs, Scripts, etc. Be sure you load them in this window, not our traditional MT4 directories.
4. Restart MT4.

I think it means this:

1. After you have upgraded to Build 600 you will have to install our indicators and our templates into different folders than before.
2. You have to go to the main MT4 folder. Within that folder is a folder "Open Data Folder" for MQL4 coded stuff. Within that folder there apparently are individual folders for indicators and for templates. These are the folders we need to put our indicators and templates into. You might have to download again from Post #1 the TAH indicators and templates in order to have them to install to these new, different folders.
3. After installing to these new, different folders, restart MT4. According to the above, everything should then work ok.

Again, anyone who has upgraded to Build 600 and is having problems with their indicators and templates not functioning, please do the procedure above and post your results on this thread.

PLEASE HELP! I am setting up my VPS and I am trying to set up my email alert and I keep getting this error.
Its saying my credentials are wrong but they are correct, I have checked on gmx multiple times.

my settings are

mail.gmx.com:587 or smtp.gmx.com:587 (i have tried both many times)


It was working a couple hours ago and now for some reason it gives me this message. Please help!

My MT4 terminal is already updated into build 600 (Version 4), yesterday...
Until now everything is OK (all my custom indies are fine and work out right)
I hope it will continue like this..

But several friend of mine reporting problem with 'dashboard' (they use ADX/Stochs in multi TF)
If you use somekind like dashboard too, i won't be surprise..

Forex Factory Traders, MetaQuotes Has Lied to All of Us!

Warning to all Forex Factory users of MT4, Do not upgrade to v600 build of MT4!

Fellow Forex Factory traders, MetaQuotes has lied to all of us. They claim this new upgrade runs MQL4 indicators in their proper runtime environment without any problems. This is a flat out lie! And once you have upgraded, you cannot go back!

MetaQuotes has become uncaring about traders and greedy for profits. This is all about them making profits off of their "Store" feature, where they and others can sell indicators of new coding. And they have effectively prevented many of all the free and open coded indicators from running! Yes, they have published a long drawn out affair as to why some things won't work, but it is all a bullshit excuse circumventing the fact that they haven't produced a program to convert all of our old indicators so they will run. They expect users to figure out what the hell is wrong, and then become coders themselves to recode so their indicators will work,.........or they expect you to buy replacements from their F....king store!~

Call your brokers and demand that you be allowed to continue the last pre-v600 build or you will go to a broker that will!

Hi My Friend,

Just click and drag your already red arrow pointing 'lever' (tiny light grey triangle at top of your chart) and drag it to the left at max to half of your chart. and for right side, yes there also maximum to the right side and can't go further..
