Hello All,
i am looking for a MT4 script that allows to set a $ XXXX values and when the balance is XXXX or more the script close all opens trades. Eg. I would like to set +$100 in the script and when balance is +100 or more the script will close all open trades on all charts.
I know there was such a free script but don't find it anymore.
Could somone please post or let me know where to find/download it?

I am really waiting the replies for this topic. I really like the issue.
i think it can only be done by an EA, because scripts cant check the profit all the time for you

Don't think a script can do that as monitoring the account balance needs constant per tick evaluation which script can't do.
I think you wanted to ask about an EA (Expert advisor)
EA no. 16 --->HERE<--- can do that.

Because Script executes the code (check for a set value of profit, in this case) only once
and
"per tick evaluation" is needed as floating profit changes with every tick.

Well, this is partially true.
A script can be placed in a while loop (infinite or predefined by some condition) and will execute it's code until is stopped or condition became false.
Also at end of loop it can be placed a Sleep(), so it can easy execute it's code on predefined interval instead "per tick".

for example:
Inserted Code
while(OrdersTotal()>0)
{
//do something, like close orders
}
script will stop execution and exit as soon as OrdersTotal()=0;

Adding to the partial truth,
i don't see anything else than a disadvantage here using a script (using this predefined interval check).
It's a known fact how volatile and fast moving FX can be be and accordingly the floating P/L.

Advantage or disadvantage are subjective...
For example you can set execution time to 500ms and will be faster than ticks interval in most cases.
Average ticks interval on 5 digits broker is ~ 1.5 seconds.
Scenario:
You already have a EA on that chart and you cannot modify it to add missing code you need.
Which solution you'll use?
Probably a script.
Of course, scripts are not suitable for complex code, but for simple tasks are ideal, easy to code and use.
Advantage or disadvantage... depends on needs and how are used.

There is no point checking the P/L, faster than the tick, either!

No update, sorry.. Try to increase check interval, probably your broker have slower execution times.

#1, if you are waiting for your account to be up by $X, and then close all trades, dont do it on the first tick where you see that profit level..

wait, perhaps, for your PL to be up by that amount, at least, for say two minutes.

and then if you were waiting to be up by $100.00, and you require that it be up by at least $100.00 for at least two minutes, at the end of two minutes, i assure you that you will be up by more than $100.00, perhaps $104 or $108 maybe..

now, just start slamming stop losses directly behind every trade on the table and then just keep snugging down those stop losses onto your trades until all are closed.

and instead of just looking for $X of upside, maybe consider these options:

if PL> (accountmargin*X%)...

if PL> (accountbalance*Y%)...

and you might want to use both types of conditions, at the same time, in an either/and/or manner..

I wrote this code awhile ago. I uploaded it. Let me know if it's what you're looking for. It's not exact but it basically monitors your account balance. If it falls under a certain amount it sends out an email notification.

I do programming projects on the side if you need it customized.

Profitkeeper should solve your problem. It automatically "resets" loops back when the trades are closed, so allowing you to have a systems approach to exiting your trades.
