hi folks. i know im not an active contributor, so asking for help is a bit selfish. but im gonna give it a shot. the brokers above are the ones i now have live accounts. It was not easy really, they all wanted residency proof, yet they accepted different documents. So i got the idea that id try all 4 of them live, and decide which one is the "best" and move all funds there. Ive never traded mt4 except on demo for the past 5 months. The point is i got this idea of posting here and to ask opinions of you traders. The format is that you only write the problems, otherwise, you just write down the name of your choice from above 4.

As far as i know legit broker never offer above 50:1 leverage, at least not the ones regulated by US authorities, but ALPARI (which ive no doubt that is legit) and FXCC (the one i like the most so far) do offer leverage 500:1 and 200:1. IBFX feels great too. Ill probably wont choose OANDA no matter what you say and i dont know why i put its name up there. But anyway, please do tell you opinions.

PS: opinions of kids whose dreams of becoming a millionaire with 100$ deposit "was crushed by evil brokers", arent welcome.

IBFX pros extra legit and you know your money is safe. max 50:1 leverage, and no hedging allowed. Nice customer service too.

ALPARI well average broker plus you know you wont get ripped off which is a good thing. There aint a lot of FOREX broker s that you can trust.

FXCC well this one is one of those that you would call "too good to be true". Well except it is located in Cyprus. I dont know its too good so far. If you care about spreads this is the best one. EURUSD never above 1.0 pip. BUT, they added a "commission" tab to the terminal, and under that tab you see (at least they dont hide it) that you are being charged about 20$ per lot traded. It doesnt affect the execution, so you still trade with say 0.6pip spread, but they cut your profits in the end. Which makes their spread advantage useless. But somehow i like them. Do not take it as advise sine it has been only 1 month.
Thank you in advance.

FXDD also got my attention, dont have account there yet, and a feedback would be great. EDIT: scratch that. very bad reviews on web.

PS: its not my place, but id suggest that there would be a pinned thread with broker feedback from trusted forum users. just saying.

$20.00 dollars a 100K lot is fine......and us long timers want that.....forexfs in australia is great, too!....200:1 is the best, that's the only thing wrong with Oanda....whom I have been with for a decade. ...So, I'm with FXCM, Oanda and then Forex FS at my favorite 200:1.

ok ill make it simple. if you buy 0.01 lots (wtf) of eurusd, youll get less than a pip spread, but youll be charged with extra 0.5$ no matter what is your loss or win in the end. aside from swap fees. so basically the advertised 0.5pip spread becomes 2.5pip. i guess that says a lot huh

thanks yes i dont like x20 or even x50 and i do consider x200. Unless you are using ActiveTrader id say FXCM is no different than oanda, they both suck when it comes to MT4 trading. I was with ToS before, and mt4 support is the only reason im looking for a broker. btw forexfs has an max account balance limit of 500$ (wtf). jus saying.

This brokers search activities is really rat race:
Mr. White Horse suggest FxPro, but here is next thread that starts from blaming FxPro - http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=351992

is it kind luck to find good one?

I think better way is too choose two or three - and spread risks.

different people will have different problems with all brokers, it can be coz of internet connection and computer software/hardwares as well...

but we need to see what majority says.

That particular thread you posted link for was started by one pipquanton who came claiming that he traded his account from $2500 to $15,000 but fxpro refused to pay him when he requested for a withdrawal. I saw that as very strange since i had an account with fxpro which i maintained for over 4yrs and during that period no one ever complained about non withdrawal. I became suspicious and asked the socalled Pipquantum to provide proof of his claim by attaching his fxpro trade history where he turned $2,500 to $15000, that if indeed it was true that Ill help him get back his funds and even make fxpro pay alot more extra for damages.

Guess what happened after that my challenge, the socalled piquantum could not provide proof and he was disgraced in that thread. The lesson to learn from this is that one should be very careful when using so called reviews to make decisions, cause majority of the contributors are either newbies that wiped out their accounts and wants to blame someone or rival broker or agents trying hard to paint the competition black
