Good customer service means NOTHING if you can't make any money!!!!!!

IBFX is known for having better CS then the New Yorkers at FXDD, But why are we trading. To be talked to sweetly or to make money?

I know I am here to make money. the other thought is if you never have any issues why do you really need sweet talk. Many Customer Service departments have gone overboard with how sweet they talk to us (t-mobile) as an example with very little fallow through.

I would love to get everyone's OPINION!

Maybe we can get though to IBFX and Todd Crossland to get his hand out of the company profit because in the long run he would make more way money.

I am no lover of either interbank or FXDD but i just have to ask... how is FXDD dealing on FOMC like that?

Do they let you redeem funds that you've won or do they pull that "these trade are against the rules" BS. and hold your money?

at least interbank is giving you a dealable platform. i mean really in this market how is FXDD dealing 2 pips fixed on FOMC without some bizzard rules like your not allowed to get in and out of a trade in less than a minute...

... i guess you can do whatever you want if your not an FCM...

Says the guy who is dealing with a completely unregistered firm and another that doesnt run a dealing desk but offers micros. Like I said BORING. Why do you guys trade with these firms and if you do then why do you complain? Your right I dont like Nordstrom sales, not because I dont like a good deal but because I dont like deals on shit. Try a better broker and maybe you'll find yourself at Saks sale.

Yes, please let me know why people don't do an ounce of research, lose money, are surprised when they do, then blame everyone else when they do......

Damn, kinda sounds like government.....

Here's my take on IBFX.

Twice by now I've been on the phone with two different trader friends while at least one of us was online with IBFX. Yet even though we were looking at the same pairs at the same time, the prices never matched. In fact they were off by as much as 80 pips!!!!

But that still doesn't tell you who's right and who's wrong, who's giving bad service over good.

But the second time it happened was end of trading on Friday. I was on Alpari and my friend was on IBFX. It was at the very end of the day, and we weren't really trading, just watching and testing some theories. The funny thing was that even after my chart stopped dead, his chart kept feeding him ticks for another 25 minutes!!!! Hel-lo!!!! He wasn't watching the forex market, he was watching a video game called IBFX.

Based on that alone I know I will never open an acct there. Not even with your money.

Thanks for the interesting post..... I have been noticing this with various MT4 brokers on Fridays for some time now. I still use MT4 as cross-reference and because some very good traders have developed Indicators or Templates which I like, but I usually execute on Oanda. But I never trade news, on Fridays and almost never on Mondays.

I have had accounts with FXDD and IBFX and FXCM and some brokers who no even longer exist. I am solidly behind FXDD- have had accounts with them for several years and I am going to quit "shopping around" for the latest new and improved broker. My interest at this point is to make good trades and make money trading. Thats all. Seems pretty easy to blame brokers for problems trading but in reality, just get a good solid broker and go from there.
FXDD is good. I have had two accounts with them for a few years. They have always been fair to me. Spread are consistant and the platform is stable-rarely ever goes down. I have no problem with Customer Service- they are staightforward and efficient. I felt like I was going around in circles at times with IBFX.Its funny- I think some of the people who complain about their CS have never met a New Yorker. I like that they quickly want to know what you want and then take care of busines.Tech support is very helpful too. Give them a try if you are with another broker.

I have to agree with you. FXDD is a much better broker than IBFX. You get the same trading conditions with FXDD except you dont get the nasty things that you get at IBFX. Why anyone would keep their account with IBFX and then complain is just beyond me. Switch your account to another broker, for goodness sake.

I too have had it with ibfx I'm closing my account, once you start winning things definitely change, initially i never use to believe this when ppl wrote about it, I just thought it was sour grapes.

Now I agree ! Orders dont close, so many requotes and the funniest part is prices don't match with my friends terminal at the same time on the same currency pair with the same broker !

Decided to go with oanda i hope things will be better.

Was curious to know if anyones made steady money with IBFX?

I think that FXDD is a far better broker than IBFX and even better than most other brokers. I have had accounts with the other major brokers, however they did not have the reliability that I was looking for. With FXDD I have had consistent tight spreads and far better accuracy of filling of my orders. I have experienced the most professional, smooth and fast customer service than any other broker I have worked with. That relationship is important to me. I feel like FXDD is my partner in my trading profession. I'd like to hear from other that have experienced this also. I know I am not the only one.

Is it just a coincidence but the people who love FXDD have never posted before their post today and they opened their accounts this month?

I have an account with both IBFX and FXDD. I haven't traded w/ FXDD in a long time. When I did, it was for a carry trade and I didn't have any problems.

I can't really say that IBFX is that bad either. I like the fact that they have microlots and are NFA regulated.

I think that all MT4 brokers play the same games so I go with one that has more positive things going for them than negative.

I was one of the ones who wrote a favorable review of FXDD. in response to the comment...." Is it just a coincidence but the people who love FXDD have never posted before their post today and they opened their accounts this month?" if I am included in that comment I want to clarify. This was my first time posting but I have had accounts with them and other Brokers for over 3 years.

I have live current accounts on both:
IBFX faster execution
FXDD fix spread vs IBFX's 10 pips on lame news?
FXDD has tigher spread.
I dont trade news so fix spread is important to me.
IBFX offers $0.01 per pip nano lots. This I like very much; very good for my EA.

If FXDD offers $0.01 per pip nano lots, I will close my IBFX.

That conclusion alone, you know what I mean.

This may be a stupid question... but is that why sometimes when I leave a trade open over the weekend it opens up lower or higher than when my broker closed? That would make sense.

I can tell you that FXDD does offer nano lots of $ 0.01 per pip. Although I dont personally trade nano lots it is available on my FXDD platform when I asked them to turn it on a few years ago.
Nano lots at FXDD are not automatically available on the metatrader platform, you need to send them an email to ask them to turn it on for you.
