Hello all,

I am trying to determine which of these two brokers I should go with. I am looking for an MT4 broker that allows trades as low as .01 of a standard block. I believe both of these allow that.

I have been demoing IBFX for some time and was thinking about going with them as my live broker. Just yesterday I was told that FXDD was a better broker.

Is there that much of a difference, or will I be fine with IBFX.

Thanks in advance.

Don't think FXDD offers 0.01 lot trading -- at least that's how I understand from their site: http://www.fxdd.com/account_types.html

Oh, the demo account allows it.

I guess demo accounts do not have to follow the rules of regular accounts.

FXDD for 0.01 lot & leverage 200:1, the margin charge you $6.43 while IBFX in the same case will charge for $0.50 only, that's mean reduce a lot of risk.

I don't know what he means by that margin charge. However, I had an account at IBFX, and currently have an account at FXDD. I requested micro lots via online chat, and they updated my account within a few minutes to be able to trade 0.01 lot sizes.

FXDD's trade execution is a LOT better than IBFX. IBFX is known as the king of the bucketshops, and having had live accounts at both, I'd recommend FXDD. They are a bucketshop as well, but just a better (or less worse??) one

I mean when you using MT4 either on IBFX or FXDD, if you open 0.01lot for EUR/USD with leverage 1:200, you can see the margin there charge a $6.43 for FXDD & a $0.50 for IBFX if you had noticed. That's mean IBFX provide smaller margin to trade and suitable for those investor with capital $500-1000. FXDD for larger capital, coz the margin charge higher, the risk will increase faster if open many trades.

o.k. thank you for your answers...

the risk is the same if i trade on fxdd or ibfx with 0.01 -- irregardless how high the margin is, but you cant open in an fxdd account not as much positions than in an ibfx account, but this ist not a problem i think...

regards

Sten
