IBFX or Alpari UK

Friends, I have narrowed it down to 2 brokers who are MT4 and so far better then others ... now which one should i go with? Alpari or IBFX(InterbankFx)?? Alpari is in the UK, where I live so thatsa plus point - besides, whatelse?

take a look at odl, but interbankfx is good, some pairs spreads or high.

I've been trading demo on alpari-uk for about a month now, so far their services are good. I am thinking of going live with them hoping that they won't change.

Similar to you op, I've been scouting for a good broker. So far I have heard lots of ups and downs and horror stories out on the internets. I'm also considering alpari and ibfx.

I don't know about alpari but I know they have an alpari-us as well.

There are tons of boards out there that smash ibfx. None or very few run down alpari. However I'd like to know why with all those bashing, ibfx won best broker 2008 (according to this article)

I'm still scared right now because I've heard millions of horror stories about ibfx. However, I also respect the article because it was publised by a berkshire hathaway company.

I know a lot of the comments on the internets talk about widening spreads, stop hunting and insane requotes etc. I know why they happen. I just want to know if these brokers are reliable. EG: no problems withdrawing money or no problem executing orders during "normal market" behavior. (and by normal i do not mean 5 minutes before a major news release.)

So after a long winded story, I want to know ibfx or alpari.

I learnt from a forex seminar I attended that Alpari-Uk pays without any problem and the payment takes between 2-5 days depending on your bank. But I don't know much about IBFX, although I learnt that they won the Best Online Broker 2008 at the middle east money summit 2008. I will sign up for their demo to see how their services are. The only problem I have with Alpari is that they do not accept credit card deposits/withdrawals, which could have made it more convenient and fast to do transaction with them.
