Hi. I'm trying to set up this MACD. I've tried all of them but I dont no what i'm doing wrong. It's the Y axis values. When I add the 15,30,45,-15,-30,-45 lines they appear very close together on all TF except the 1 and 5 min. I can see the values on the Y axis get high the longer the TF so how is it possible for the values entered to stay static for you all but for me they squish together...

I found a no lag MACD which I found worked ok but this one Phil uses is the one I want but isn't working...

Hi Epidot, you can add 150, 350, 450, -150, -300, -450.
Yes you must put in an extra zero for the extra decimal platforms. 15 is 1.5 pips instead of 15.

I'm expecting a break out of the descending triangle to the top. If it happens look for a pull back to the break out level and place your bets

Sorry you can't see the charts, I just describe how, on the daily chart, the price keep respecting FIB 61,8 -50- 38,2- 23,6 then direction Fib 0 is obvious!

already a breakout on the 4H, waiting for completion of small bullback before taking a position clearly SHORT to me.
I didn't see the daily evening star, you showed it to me, I should be more aware of that. thanks!

I agree with you there is a place. I took it at 1.5686. the price was making kind of top of consolidation (on the 4H chart), and Macd was clearly not showing strenght at all, I took some more right below the 89sma. my reason is with a so big turn around in price ..it does keep pressuring the price down. the stoploss is as large as a toothpick!-now almost a free trade...

just got back in. below 89, breakdown from trend line,a close SL, target is a bit less then the range of the consolidation.

it can be seen as Head and Shoulders, with a weak right Shoulder from the Macd

SL too close; -81 pips

You were a busy, lady? 2 trades in 1 day. I never took the trade. I was looking for price to really take off after it crossed that trend and it did not. (I've since erased that line) Since I did not do what I expected, I did not trade it. For now price needs to break that fib level, the 23.6, with a strong bearing candle or go up the the top of the range for me to take the trade at this point. My profit target will be around 1.544x

2 pairs: GBP/USD and EUR/USD. No trade for me today either. I should have mentioned this yesterday, but things are more like to range until the big EU meating. I think when the news comes out things will break out of the range
