Yeah, 25 by 25.. and now we had 75 by 75 by 75.
But remember, recession is transitory!

What will happen is that actually neither recession nor inflation will be transitory hahahah.. unbelievable..

Michael Burry (guy who predicted 2008 crash): We are likely to see [the consumer price index] lower, possibly negative in 2H 2023, and the US in recession by any definition," he said in a tweet Sunday. "Fed will cut and government will stimulate. And we will have another inflation spike.

Some economists suggest Powell will be late, AGAIN. Due to his pause and see until CONVINCED, he will probably be late with cutting rates and send US in a great recession.

Hey Waveskie,

I'm done trading for this week , as need to travel.

You're right, I make sure to make money in trading and trying to save every penny from trading.
Need to be richer than Joe.
Joe has done his maths, I need to do mine and will be better than Joe.

In 25 years from now, I want to live like Joe or better,
That's why all of us need to do our maths at early stage of trading.

Be smart like Joe.

However, the non-farm payrolls data made everything possible. The data has made me fearful of trading and I then try to avoid it as much as possible.
Just follow the trend.

BOE’s Bailey: Too soon to say if this is last rate rise - the sun

They are all a few rate hikes away from pausing in my opinion. BOC already paused.

Hiking rates cycle is nearly over, now we observe how quickly will recession come. Hike, Pause, Cut.

In view of this, I should probably leave my position at 1.24 for at least a year. But, who knows..

...I think there will be a lot of traders long, particularly retail/daytraders waiting for the 'mythical' pullback to 2262 area as a target/1st target?
Intraday (mainly) swing scalper (+,) via a Supp/Res & PA based edge.

I would be highly surprised to see Pound reaching 1.24 again let alone 1.27. But trading by "might" almost always sucks.

BOE hiked rates to 5.75% in 2008, but it's highly unlikely they will go above 4.5%. This should be the ceiling.

Bailey:

Q) Last year you said we’d be in recession for two years, but now it’s only one — what’s changed?
A) Gas prices have fallen a lot over the past couple of months.
And fixed mortgage rates are a bit lower.
Unemployment hasn’t risen as we feared it might. That all puts a few more Pounds back in people’s pockets

As said: they expect soft landing.
