No I have not tested CCFp-Diff MTF this week..CCFp-Diff signals only...If you read the the thread enough you will understand the CCp-Diff indicator terms and other terms used here.Nothing to be confused about.Goodluck.

Hi, and thanks to all the contributions. I am planning on testing this on a weekly time frame and a daily time frame, so can someone please verify that I have set this up correctly.

Weekly
1. Load EURUSD M1 chart.
2. Add CCFp-Diff_[v2.0](1).ex4 to chart
3. Change Timeframe to 10080 (weekly) - Leave all other settings as is....(I am NOT loading CCFpWEEKLYtemplate (1).tpl)

4. Add EA xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v37.6.ex4 to the same chart.
5. Change settings of GMT Open Hour (weekly and daily) to: 0800 and edit Basket_take_profit/Basket_stop_profit and BeginLockingProfit to my own variables.

Then sit back and wait until Monday 0800 GMT?

Daily
Exactly the same as above, except for CCFp-Diff_[v2.0](1).ex4 settings I have the Timeframe as 1440 (daily) and set Indicator_id_number as 2?

Then add xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v37.6.ex4 change Magic number to 2 and have the same GMT settings, and select 'Trading Mode' to Daily.

I will now have 1 EA working weekly baskets and 1 EA working daily baskets. Is this correct?

I can then open a new EURUSD D1 chart and load the Dash Fibo V1 (1).ex4 which I use PURELY to monitor trades and open positions etc...?

I apologise in advance if these questions have been answered individually throughout this threat, I tried reading through as much as I could. Thanks

i read about it on other place and got it,in fact i test in other thread css type bit more complex.
on your post i just made the wrong logic conection thats why i asked about mtf one with a little confusion.now is clear ,seems you have a bunch of baskets opened there.

On my server there is a set file for v37 and up. Those are my settings. Please change the lotsize to suit your needs.
I only trade one time a week. I target 10% but if I see 7% or more I close the basket manually.

I have been trading this approach live since Feb 13. I have 6 straight weeks of 7-10% profit each week. I am currently up over 80% since inception.
I do not trade on bank holidays nor major news days. I consider NFP, Employment report, housing, FED meetings to be the news events that I avoid.
Fortunately I have not had to reach those days cause on average my basket reaches target profit within 12hrs.

Look for one of my posts, last week on 27 March. I posted the equity curve and the last basket that I traded.

John I recommend you get v37.7 I forgot what the issue was with 37.5.

Dude LINUX IS THE BOMB!! I love that OS.
Anyhow you need to download two fonts and add them to WINE. I forget how to do it but do a google search and there are many examples of how to add fonts to WINE.

These are the fonts you need:
Times Roman
Webdings

If you still have the problem let me know. I already have MT4 running on WINE on APPLE too LOL. I can see what I ddid with that to get it looking normal.

Hi Xmess, off to bed in a bit as you know late here but just wanted to say i lost 532 pips monday should have known better(bank holiday) but ive opened baskets yesterday and today and im still up 350 pips, cant belive it really !
Just shows that if you do mess up this system can claw its way back speak later Bro

You could use the MTF CCFp and set it to Weekly and Daily. That way, you would only get strong signals on both timeframes.

What stood out when I looked at it was the symmetry of the drawdown vs the gain.

If your account is big enough, you could set the virtual basket to turn into a real basket at -100, -200, and -300. But the flipside of this is, if the basket goes positive right away, your real basket would not get triggered.

You can set the basket to trigger off of positive or negative pip totals.
And so what.. so what if u miss a basket. You just protected your balance by doing that.

Folks: Something important to communicate yo you guys about the ccpf-diff.

I didn't realize this until someone pointed it out to me. Make SURE you have all the SYMBOLS activated in your market watch window.
You see, the ccfp-diff indicator, from what I can tell, will not active then for you. So I would not doubt that this is where the problems of zero divide and all that happens cause if the pair that the indicator is using is not available the it uses basically nothing in it's place.

This had not occurred to me cause the EA takes care of that. IT will activate a pair for you if it is already hidden. So since the EA was doing that I was thinking that that should not be an issue. But since the EA uses the indicator recommendation list and since the list is generated SEPARATELY from the EA, then you can see the the deal starts at the indicator.

Hope this helps all that are struggling to see a list on their display.
