I'm currently a seller of cable, but in an ideal world (and using current charts) I'd look to buy at 1.2630. However, if price action was bearish around this level, I'd look to continue with my short position(s).

I'm short 0.5 lots at 1.29327.

Now we appear to have broken near term resistance of 1.29053, I'm looking to hold until 1.28086. This appears to be a 'safe' take profit zone, in that it should reach this level before, potentially, retracing.

Yesterday we saw price make a 50% retracement.

Now we need to see the GBP find support above the EMA and then we should see it take out the resistance at 1.2977

Hey nala

I threw on the CCI for the 200 20 cross and i am waiting for 0.00 OR MAYBE NEGATIVE 100 200 now....

there be support somewhere in 0.00 -100 -200

I remain bullish but dip required or it a fakey for me.

Dont see much CCI on this thread, thought id bring it to the floor for everybody attention..

I only use the 26 EMA because it represents the waterline of the RSI and MACD. This is important to be able to find where the bears or bulls find support. Later the support levels become resistance targets.

With the EMA I only compare it to the past EMA level i.e. bump to bump this tells us if the market is strong in any direction.

To use the CCI effectively you need to also use the Bollinger Bands, they work in tandem.

Here is a typical trade setup using the CCI and BB.

You should change your CCI back to the default 14 or things don't make any sense.

CCI can be used for variety of uses, such as divergence, hedging etc but if using bollingers i find best settings 100/2 with CCI 20 give the best results...

you would have gotten stopped out.

where as this is a an excellent trade.

Enter the dip follow the trend..

stop friendly.
