After yesterday's monsters moves, the weirdos are quiet and thoughtful this morning - or exhausted...one or the other. The 100 had a small move and fair enough but the others are pottering about for now.
This leaves me with UC, which is setting up nicely. However there is that red news this afternoon to bear in mind if nothing's happened before then...

Morning all.
Two similar setups I entered this hour. After good moves PA stalled in the last hour. Jumped in on both trades to grab my 5 pips and left some running.
(Worth zooming out on H1/H4 to get an idea of where price is in relation to S&R)

One thing to point out here, is that if you had hesitated even for a second, you would likely have missed the entry, which came on a bar which only failed to match the previous set-up bar's high by just over a pip or so.
Now as we know, we should not go chasing the score - we snoozed and we loosed - however for me, I see no wrong, seeing how the next bar almost gets up there as well, in treating that bar as a trigger bar.
Because it essentially confirms that the move is exhausted and the close drops away towards an already low open level, we would enter at that open - marked by the blue circle. Still no guarantee that price wouldn't have climbed back up but it gives a much less aggressive entry while using price-action to give some level of confirmation that we've got it right.
Not something to be doing on any regular basis but just food for thought here in this particular case and one to stick in the back of the knowledge-cupboard for possible use if we see the same situation again.

Been sitting in this CA long for a while now. Managed to inch up to +5 profit locked. Checked my crystal ball, indicates some price movement today but uncertain of what direction.
