This sort of thread makes me wince!! A 9,999% increase in just three months...pure fantasy, unless of course, you have already achieved this. Say no more.

If you've already decided, in your mind, that it's impossible - by all means, keep on wincing. But be careful, as what one believes, defines one's future.

@all Feel free to ignore this post as irrelevant; after all it's only 300% in one week...

Exactly, it shows it all.

If withdrawing half of the account after such performance and or having multiples open orders is not telling you something then you must be an amateur as him.

And of course he is not showing the full statement.

Are you suggesting that such amateurs as myself should learn from such pros as yourself? I'd actually very gladly do, if only you had anything worth learning to say. But as far as I can see, you've had very little to show to the world over the last 5 years on this forum - 150 posts, 3 images, none of which of a live trade. So, if you can't do better than that, please let ME decide how to manage my money and my account. Otherwise, I'm not sure if I could afford to buy any bread and butter at the end of the week.

Oh, and by the way, I am not a man.

Maybe he needed the money, you have no idea why he did what he did. I suppose you are a real expert.

Very simple(joking). This is not a serious proposition, but it is possible!

Hey marinecorps, if you're still around, just a few words from me.
Well done for trying! Now come back and fight again. Throw away the calculators, do not chase after any particular strategy. If you need to have rules, these three will do:

1. Understand what and when moves the market.
2. Trust yourself.
3. Always keep an open mind.

Good luck and see you at 10k!

Everyone of us here wants to make money, that's why we are here. I think there is no need to be too negative towards anyone. So, cheers to all.

I kind of want to discuss OP's idea. 5% of capital doesn't seem to be that hard, in theory. On a 50x leverage, it means a gain of 0.1% on the actual pair. Not that difficult, but apparently not something I am able to achieve, else I would be on a beach house in Malibu now.

So what gives? What makes it so tough?

I've posted this before, but here it goes again as the answer to your question... People don't like looking in the mirror to find their own faults and limitations. They prefer to chase illusions and feel safe. Thus, unsurprisingly, all they get is an illusion.

P.S. For those who are not good at metaphores: illusion (someone else's trading system); feeling safe (not being able to think independently, outside the box).

Right...agreed.

The problem with OP's system in my opinion, is that the stress is damn real!

How do we keep gaining 5% per day? Via better execution? To improve one's skills by 5% a day is well..not likely. Do we increase lot size then? I suppose that's the way to go, since our capital has gone up too?

With this sort of system you will adjust lot size or tp sl according to your current equity. Always risk 5% from equity not initial deposit

You are right, I have no idea why he did that and I am no real expert, actually I might have been agressive and on the negative side.

The truth is that I am tired of egomaniac guys who post thread in the glory of them claiming that after 12 days they made it and that they figured it all out.

There is no such things and never a professional trader that feed his family with trading will speak like that, because success in this business comes with a lot of experience and bitterness.
