It's very possible.

But, there is no consistent way to do it.
I think it is possible too...

it's not a matter of how to do it, but how to manage our own self....

to control the greed inside while doing a predetermined set of trading plan on a disclipined way.....

and money management comes into effect when doing real money plays....

Yeah, that's what i was talking about, it is possible, BUT:

To do it, you must have a big experience, and know HOW TO trade.

Then, you should forget money/risk management rules, and trade as best as you can.

But i think, that every 100 people, only one have the basis and the experience necessary to do it. It is no luck or something else, is very very good trading, and not many people can do it.

I'm up for that. Let's send Merlin $300.00 real and ask him to open 2 accounts.
1 Month from now YOURS will be at $10,000.00 and mine will be (hopefully) somewhere > $300.00.
No Doubt you will accept this challenge as you have already displayed that Your Strat cannot fail.

nope, i did not mention any strats here or wherever that will work or not....and i don't have much experience yet though.

i am only asking anybody if this feat is possible, but i am inclined to try it as well.

who's Merlin btw? i may need to know more of the possible scenarios and consequences of entering into such test...

and that admittedly i'm still lacking the knowhow.

I turned $200 into $20k in two weeks around the same time genie turned $1k into $100k.

I did it on GBPJPY starting on November 7, 2007, using tkimble's daily scalping method, and very dangerous MM. (4 losses in a row would wipe me out)

You'll note that the average bar moved more than 150-200 pips each day peaking at 500 pips.
we'll if there is truth on that claim, then there is no reason to ask if 300 can be turned into 10k in a month as it was dwarfed already.

anyway, i still need to see or do it personally before i can say that it can be done.

i've done it. but pretty easy to get a margin call if you want to do that strategy.

actually, less than a month. turned 4k to 54k in 3 weeks and lost most of it.
