Is there any way to identify the right settings.

I go with the default settings.

Anything wrong in this setting. Could you please confirm once.

If you don't like the 1Hr/15min trade technique then; here is one that is all in the same timeframe. (15 min charts) Rules are simple entry is Symphonie signal and exit is change in Sentiment or Extreme change (only) after entry. I used a 10 pip stoploss after trade goes +10 pips. (P.S. Trade one position at a time only to lower losses.)

Made me 50 pips in 3 days. In your demo trading test it out and see how well you preform.

From what I remember, no one was successful in creating an EA because not withstanding the rules Trading Symphonie is still an art. At the heart of it Symphonie combines principles of market structure, volume, price action etc....

I know I read these posts.. Still, he might have an EA now? A kind of EA to test. I mean how would you Eval test the indicator if you cant run it through the tester? Like what are good settings etc..

I will ask that if you are determined to setup an EA then please setup a new thread for its discussion. I do not want this thread to be about an EA. This thread is for Symphonie Trader System, not an EA.

So you dont have an ea. So how did you get the settings? The reason I ask how you got the the settings is because I have a different broker and need to adjust the settings accordingly. If you could tell me how you got the settings I could use that to adjust the settings for my broker. An EA could have helped to backtest. Thats why I was busy with an EA.

Bmcgowra,

Evaluator has given the optimized settings for the time frames. As for testing the indicator, You just have to look at this thread which is one of the longest surviving thread and read some of the posts by other users. Evaluator gave a comprehensive analysis of his system. In the end, the system is available for us to test it directly.

Evaluator is a heavy hitter and a veteran and dollar to donuts his trading capital would be at-least 7-8 digits.

He also made it clear he is protective of the intellectual property. So let's not take his generosity for granted and be grateful that he is still here to support us with his guidance...

I am not trying to personally attack or question the strategy. I hope you all didnt get me wrong. Regarding the intellectual property I am greatful for Evaluator to share it with us.

I am just a little frustrated as I am trying to get the correct settings for dukascopy (my broker) which seem to be different to other brokers because of the point difference.

This is why I created the EA to be able to backtest. But it doesnt seem to work out. Therefore my question how Evaluator gets the settings. It was not meant in a bad way at all. If I would know how I could apply this for the settings of my broker. Thats all.

So please everyone. I hope you didnt get me wrong..

With A LOT of pain staking trial and error. You have the ability to test different setting just as I do. All you have to do is open the indicator setting and MT4 and adjust them. I encourage you to try it for yourself.

Thanks! I tried to look back and see that the 1 hour candle shows upto 6 months into the past. Do you or anyone know how to make it show a full year?

I have made an ea from it, still, in alpha stages haven't even yet put on the demo.
the problem was that the symphony indicator had more than x amount of inputs and my coder couldn't do it for mt4 so i found a version that worked.
I've discovered something interesting about this, has a massive potential but will rip you apart when ranges or trend vanishes, in testing it changes 1k to 6k (600% )2016-2017 but that is with standard lot of 0.1 and not 1% risk. and we don't see 600% return if starting with 10k or anything, it makes 100% < return 2016-20117, my problem is that I use my own indicator alongside for confirmation, this indicator I discovered it repaints , it does not repaint live but where you start it would show different results, so my ability to do long term test is pretty limited.

when I see the gross profit I cry, on some of the worse versions gross profit can be (starting with 10k )greater than 1mill and a gross loss would be like 970k hahaha (tear )

I would happily share this with you guys since you have been so devoted to this, but so far this hasn't been the cheapest work to make and still got fair bit more to perfect, its not for sale , I want to give away to some but I don't want everyone to have full access to it .(freeloaders) i hope you can respect that.

I will respect that, I thought I just let you all know as people were asking I will slowly retreat into the cracks, if approached I will happily answer questions where ever they come from whatever they're about


OH also i put the wrong initial amount in they were the settings for 1k using 0.1 size
