i think i must be doing something wrong here, but the EA won't open my trades at the specified time... see below screen shots the first screen shot is the ea set to open trades as soon as the daily bar ended yesterday.. second screen shot is the settings i used for the first EA. the third screen shot is the EA set to open trades at 9 am GMT fourth screen shot is the settings for the 2nd EA now the EA set to open trades as soon as the Daily bar ends worked but the EA set to open trades at 9 am GMT didn't work??? can any one tell me what i did wrong?...

Hi, v18.1 is not setup to handle multiple baskets. I think I mentioned to someone that it was and I was mistaken.
PM me and I'll send u a link to one version that does handle multiple basket.

I picked some random weeks and compared past CCFp weekly signals that I traded with the past signals generated by you and compiled in your weekly signals excel sheet and both signals are the same..Lets presume weekly signals generated and compiled by Smoothtrader are accurate..I think what we probably need to do now is to be able to transfer the signals into Excel backtester sheet..I think this will make backtesting the signals less stressful since we wont have to enter the signals manually into the Excel backtester before running backtests..Let me know what you think.

I am learning too,now I think I now how to properly do that backtest,I feel like accauntant with filling exel with data

Hopefully soon all you will need to do is copy and paste a date from signal sheet to chart sheet......watch this space.

Hello all please help me applaud Smoothtrader for compiling the past weekly CCFp signals from 2012 to 2017 into Excel for our use..5years of data for backtesting which is great...Its not an easy task but he did it anyway...Our profound gratitude goes out to you Smoothtrader and we wish you success in future....Have a great weekend.

Something for the weekend Sir

I have created a Weekly CCFP Trade Journal on my google drive for anyone to add their trades for the week.

Please only fill in if you are carrying 1 set of trades per week i.e. 1 with a SL and TP or 1 with a end of week close as per the original thread.

I have split the tabs by months for all of 2017 with a couple of stats to monitor trades. I hope going forward we can see how peoples baskets are performing with different entry times and exit times. Maybe with a different number of pairs in baskets etc.

Just to test the stats I have added a few people names from the thread. Please leave mine at the top for every week and edit the rest as desired.
I think this will turn out to be beneficial for all who are willing to participate.

Going forward, if anything needs changing, modified then PM me as not to clutter up the thread.

good idea - umm i see that every week you have the same amount of pairs - is this pairs that you traded? i was under the impression that the EA only traded pairs that had signals and the amount of pairs traded would/could change every week... as in this week there were 12 pairs to trade... am i missing something here

This is good..With this weekly CCFp trade journal we can compare forward test results every week for the best performance and this will benefit us in the long run.Question:What do we enter in WEEK1 in the journal?This week's trades or past trades?

Look at my trade explorer and you will get all the information you need..Basket was opened 1 hour after London open.SL=500pips

just a thought - should we put if the weeks trade hit our TP, SL or Trailing SL - or was closed because it was end of friday....

I opened My trade basket 2 hours after London. It reached 992 pips max but then it dropped to 600 then after the NFP it resurged but I dont know where it reached.
Does anyone opened 2 hour after London ?

This week is week 2. Going forward if a week ends in a new month that's week 1 of the new month.

Good point Bill I have added a comments section for this weeks trades. Fill in as you want. I will update the rest later.

Also if you have already filled in your trades for this week highlight the row so I know you have finished editing for the week.
