Very interesting that the EA did not display the correct pip count.
U see all the EA does is loop thru each of pairs and adds up the pips.
Then the number is displayed as a string. Now you may think that the EA does not have the correct number and when the basket hits +3000 pips
that it will not close it. In fact... you can test it. Set the TP to just below what you have right now and the basket should close.

So the only issue here is just they way the number is displayed as TEXT. I think the problem may be that I normalize it before I convert it to a text.

nice and awesome strategy... i tested now this hole week in Demo account and startet daily at 30min after London open with the Signals of the CFP used daily Signals... an had everyday green pips with a maximum drawdown of 120pips... worked with 200p SL and 500p TP.

I closed manually with 200-300 pips manual

monday with 249p
tuesday 314p
wednesday 346p
thursday 189p

today i´m with in front with about 130p .. but started 30min before london open

It´s great!

So you used the CCFp with input setting TF = 1440 for trading daily baskets?

Great results! I will start using it starting next week and also report any bugs on EA if I find.
From what i see the original strategy was to open basket on Monday and close on Friday - one basket per week.

I guess you opened every morning a basket and close it at the end of the day? So, basket day trading? Your results are very impressive, if in profit maybe a bit safer than being exposed 5 days to the market?

I assume by daily baskets you're meaning intraday trading so then you could also try 240 timeframe instead of 1440 for intraday. In particular, I found the closed H4 08:00 GMT+2 candle to be good for giving intraday signals.
Hello all saavy excel persons out here..You know yourselves lol...This is actually an idea that I think is worth pursuing..I think that if we intend to code an Excel to backtest this strategy , we need to add a GMT filter so that we can be able to run backtests of different GMT entries of basket in the Excel backtester and compare results.Timing I think is everything..Entering basket on Mondays at different GMT times gives different results.This way we can know for sure what GMT time is best to enter baskets every Monday.Let me know what you think..Cheers

i think i must be doing something wrong here,
but the EA won't open my trades at the specified time...
see below screen shots

the first screen shot is the ea set to open trades as soon as the daily bar ended yesterday..

second screen shot is the settings i used for the first EA.

the third screen shot is the EA set to open trades at 9 am GMT

fourth screen shot is the settings for the 2nd EA

now the EA set to open trades as soon as the Daily bar ends worked but the EA set to open trades at 9 am GMT didn't work???

can any one tell me what i did wrong?

Not sure if this makes a difference, but try this.

I noticed that you had 9:00
instead try 09:00

Time may require 4 digits 00:00

It should work on Monday since the correct format is "HH:mm" as brucech suggested.

Very nice results !! your basket trading close was new york close ??
although the EA didn't open any trades with the below settings - is this because i am running the 2 EA's on the same terminal account?

I believe that the time to start the basket is not so important, as the market changes, the results will change continuously. For the last 3 months at a certain time, the next 3 months can change the result quickly.

how is basket performing?
Hi ,i realised going over the posts that some are trading on 4H , some daily and some weekly , if people feel to share there best time frame please ...
