Hi Hal - I asked on the HOLO thread if it is realistic to complete each day of trading in profit. But by looking at what you are doing I think it is possible.

Would you say that filtering the trades that does not feel right makes you a winner at the end of the day ?

Takes a lot of practice for filtering to work for you.
Better to trade the system.
The wins/losses take care of themselves when you execute properly.

I probably do more analyzing on whether to take a trade or not than I need to, but that goes to my analytic nature. However, filtering, back testing, over analyzing is on balance not that useful, IMO. It's probably a better idea to go back and reread the concepts and execute properly as Too Slow remarked. This is time better spent, which I think I may do myself, as I haven't in a while.

Last year I was trading one(just one) method(no HOLO or 1-2-3) thinking it will work at some point. It never did work good regularly. I lost so much energy... And NO TAKE 2 on that for me. No f$#%! way.

I became very suspicious been in this business. It is really hard to tell if someone is posting real results or not or if only one side of the medal is showed.

That is why I was asking. To get a sens of the long term expectancy. I understand though that I need my own results to have a proof of anything

Since this method gave me good result from the start and I can replicate it. I will continue this way until I feel I execute it perfectly. Then I'll conclude whatever it is based on the result.

Totally understand. That is why, although it may seem a tad harsh to say ''do it yourself'', it really will (a) give you a much better understanding of how the method works in real life based on how YOU trade, not anyone else and (b) make you a better trader overall, as you will have seen results based on your own hard work, not having to have that niggling thought that you will never be as good as the teacher/coach, whatever.

We will be here to offer you all the support you need.

Took this EG long, got in a bit late and took partial profit at +5 then stopped at my entry.

Yesterday I was in the GU short and the CAD long. Rather than close out the trades I decided to just let them sit overnight. My stop was at BE had taken some profit. Today GU +46 CAD +56.

This is my GU trade from yesterday that I am still it, it is currently +117. You can see the entries marked. I believe the first two were profitable also. Not saying this is the way to play 1-2-3, it just shows some potential being on the right side from the start.

Hey Hal, I like your approach to trading, but still do not understand how you can open as many stores at once. I watch eight pairs of input and if there is such a situation. 5 at a time, only open one and then just watch sadly how beautiful it comes to price and other Can you please clarify how you doing?
