in your 1st chart you're looking at usdgbp instead of gbpusd , can i ask you why you do that ?

Just an alternate view, sometimes gives ya a little different perspective , some patterns are easier to pick out , it gives you the exact ying for every yang ,,,lol or yang for ying

Some arguments going on perhaps about bull or bear market for this pair presently !!I am not going to add any inflammation here .Just my views & analysis , simple & straight forward , nothing any new though about this pair. Anyway I am not any fan of bull in this pair rather expecting great down for it , very long term target may even goes to 0.6150!!logical but the train never go that direct to hold for years basis , lots of up & down streams there too in between. The last year also very great for the bear 2360 pips candle .so a correction should be due & as per waves analysis with a new bottom & double bottom & waiting for signals still to hit & break 1.2774 and 1.2794 , trump factor to me etc , it is apparent that correction is imminent if not otherwise proved , failure break those signals & hold also . yes by this time if pa needs test the bottom again also likely , not any great bear though perhaps . anyway anything can happen , can correct now or then at a further down of the mess, all ok. bear & bull present at every wave , every move & so all fit in it . no fight for it , just play safe if any wrong any place . this yearly views is ultimately bull > do not forget tha camel theory also.. take care , fontu

On the daily GU chart, since the 23rd of January, price has not closed below the median line, (the middle line of the pitchfork).
Price also retraced half way back on February 7th.

ideally no break of weekly so ideally under that lets see what next first (open)
I laid out gbp jpy already unless that tl breaks I believe

I reread your post 5 times and still do not understand its meaning.

Anyway, I just thought it would be more informative if you could post specific entry/stop levels when the trading setup you are looking for is complete and you have a trading signal to go long or short.

ok I put the arrow on the chart gbp jpy if you ask me what next exactly I don't know I want to see open first movement since cable is still unclear d1
I built quite a few charts in confluence that the weekly outlook has merit

So if I understand you correctly you are apparently waiting for a close above that weekly doji candle to go long the GBP/JPY?

Speaking of GBP/JPY we have what appears to be a failed head and shoulders pattern on the 4h chart.

Unless the price is simply testing the neckline (blue line), a clear breakout of the 142.50 level (red line) could spell trouble for the short sellers.

If the H&S fails, the buyers should be able to pocket at least 250 pips easy...
