As Too Slow would tell you it really is all about simplicity. It simply works with no clutter or confusion. I like 1-2-3 a lot. My routine is every morning I track each hour's trades with a simple Excel spreadsheet. I highlight the pairs that qualify for the current hour. Then I watch and read the flow of the market to decide which one I will go with for that hour if any. The more time you spend in this mode the more I find you become in tune with patterns that repeat over and over. Near the end of the hour I record in the spreadsheet how many pips each pair that triggered got and on average about 200 pips cumulative on the 10 pairs I track and trade over 5-6 hours starting in London. That 200 hundred is the potential within that current hour. Of course some pairs if you catch that top or bottom can go on quite well from there on.

EG the only pair that was in play last hour. An interesting set up because it could have be taken from either side. I took it long as was able to lock in +5, riskier because of the wide stops.

This is where my CAD trade ended up from earlier Friday. I usually move my stop to BE at some point but forgot to on this one. I was away from the charts all day and had just left it active. It got as much as +87. It now sits at +53 over the weekend and I put a 20 trailer on it.
