I'm not interested in the easy ones per se. The 15 gives too many options. The hourly is more than enough for me.

Not so sure about that Digger1. Look at that huge stop-right-there-Mister candle, it usually means that the up intraday move is exhausted. The 2 shooting stars are also saying the same thing. I am talking short term of course.

Personally when I get a trading signal on the 15 min, I switch to the 5 min just to see if the signal is valid. It helps a lot because I can see stuff that I cannot see on the 15 min.

Anyway.

not crazy about either level..I'll short up top on a quick push up...as for getting long, it would have to be after a decent push up, which might expose a different area to look at....

It was just the usual spread spike, after the New-York's close. Between 5PM and 6PM (EST) it's basically just random noise due to low liquidity.

My job is to weed out as many potential levels that I may want to trade at. So, generally I avoid going up or down TFs. I will take a look up, say at the 4hr, daily, weekly and monthly, but only to evaluate what I marked on the hourly. Here are the candidates in the 2600/2700 range....

and to be frank, I don't think I like a single one of them....

the levels I did like traded this week..so now what, force myself to find something I like...
