{quote} Hey Lem can you put some notes on this chart to show how we could have traded it as you do? Thanks

Sure. It's all pretty straight forward as far as 1-2-3 trades go.

The numbers on the chart show all the opportunities on the day (from 00:00 uk time). This makes a difference here as it turns out, as NY time would have given your day as midnight at the bar with trade #2 on it. I mention this, as there were two opportunities to go long between these trades #4 and #5, one good and one very, very, good that I wouldn't have as they wouldn't be new Lows made on my day.

The trades would have been taken purely according to rules. Entry on the open levels of the trigger bars as price passes over them.

As far as what happens once the trades are open and running, well, that varies a bit depending on my mood, I'm afraid. I will however look to try and lock in +5 as soon as possible an keep my sl tight. If the sl hits but price returns, I will re-enter.

I will use a fib-map overlay as possible tp points more often than not, however I - along with a couple of the others here or hereabouts - have looked at taking a percentage off at +5 and letting the rest run.

One thing I have been doing - and I hope this is ok with TooSlow but I know you, Tom, have been running ''my'' style of WZ trades on The Dead Zone and so understand the concept, so feel it's ok in this context. I have been looking at whether price is in the Upper or Lower ''Alien Airspace'' of the previous Day and knowing that we have the stats to give weight behind us as to have a level of expectation that price will leave those areas. (Of course, that could mean it could leave the wrong way out of the zone - but that's just a part of the game!)

Now remember, it's not in the rules and all - but you asked and I wanted to answer truthfully for you. I think it is also true that the 1-2-3 trades that come toward the beginning and end of the days - the ones that 'top-and-tail' the day - are the strongest and these are the ones that tend to be in those zones.

As such, I will add the chart below, which shows the previous day's zones overlaid.

Yeah, I was beginning to think I had bitten off just one too many bites at this particular cherry! Got there in the end though - glad you rode it out. There's nothing worse that cutting your losses after going at it all day only to then see the move go your way at last. Nice one.

Those are some really boring looking charts.
Can't you add a dozen or so indicators to make them look cool?

It's a strange one - not entirely sure how much more it's got. Check out the Daily and the H4 charts and you'll see what I mean.

We are @breakout yesterday low @117.20 area.

Seem bear control for now/at least for short term. Need a 1-2-3 pattern to buy with confident.

Just my cents
