If you notice this last drop from 100 to 118 over this last month or so all took place during US trading hours and not during Asian trading hours which means that this move took place with American approval.

Now when China moves its YUAN people in America complain.

A few days ago we had 3-4% gains in oil (Monday I believe it was) which took place in Asia into Europe but then you will notice that when American markets opened up it was brought back down again. Somebody likes to be in control of these moves. America though has no control over what China does.

Large specs have gone nuts with this pair, this is up like what 17000 pips in 5 weeks?

This must be the largest amassed short ever in a G7 currency.

Like the euro below 1.04 and EU and Draghi does nothing...they have big interest in making the pair going lower

Same for devaluation of the yen...until it goes up for imaginary reasons

While I agree overall commercials by nature go opposite the trend.

So unless that group is filtered out, blindly going against COT figures just because X is rising and Y is dropping even dramatically is not a winning formula.

NOT-KMPG I agree with you.. My trade plan for this pair.. Just my view and not forcing anyone to just trade it blindly without having their own analysis.. If the confluence by chance works, then we should expect any sort of support just around the bottom TL with price around 104-105..

On the daily it looks like price hit the bottom supply zone. If there are still sell orders at this level may see a pull back. Always do your own analysis

On a smaller TF which may count for nothing depending on how price opens - there are zones below and price will gravitate to were the last buy orders were seen. Always do your own analysis

Maybe it is from my upbringing in a beach town and continuing to do so over the years I learned to swim with not against the dominant tide/wave flow, but the more shorts - going against the obvious longer term uptrend in place - the happier I am.

at 118.65 the top is in place here on monthly, i will be cautious with longs view, bulls are still in control no doubt

but ......... caution comes first
