Hey Guys,

I have been trading GBP/JPY for over three years now. I have gained experienced ONLY in this pair. Over the several, years I have invented and tried many strategies, and they work great! But the problem with forex is that, those strategies need to be tweaked now and then to be able to keep up with new market demands.

I can keep going on and on about forex, but I'm sure you have heard of this before. I am creating this thread, in which i will be discussing my daily trading methodologies and calling out trade calls.

In addition, If you guys are interested I can even send you my trade calls to your phone, just to show you my performance (for free of course) and you can try on your DEMO account. So let the discussion begin.

Here is how I trade:

1) I am a daily trader, usually taking 1 trade per day.
- We only take two trades, when the first trade goes bad and we need
to hedge!

2) Per trade making around 60-200 PIPS

3) If a trade goes bad, we don't close. We hedge!!!
- After hedging, we close for a small profit, break even or close for a small
loss
4)I do not use any type of indicators, such as RSI, MACD, Stochs. I believe they are all deceptive.

5) Any questions? you are most welcome to ask me.

Sorry, I do not understand you question. If you mean, I'm a short term trader, then the answer is YES. But I am not a scalper!

Squidster, hope you don't mind me asking this: but regarding point 4), if you do NOT use any of these technical indicators, then what DO you rely on (fundamentals??). Thanks

Maybe we will see a nice runup & stall at 214 going into the London opening for more short action.

Then again, maybe we won't.

no one can tell you extacly how many pips a retrace will do. You need to gain that knowledge from your strategy.
