This might help you until you find exactly what you are looking for. Do not refresh the chart if you want to keep the lines otherwise draw horizonal lines where it draws lines to keep the lines it draws. They are fib but still good. I also included a couple of others that draw horizontal lines at important levels ... some are adjustable.

Years ago I remember using an indicator that would draw lines at fractal points to indicate support and resistance and you could choose how far back in history to go and how far to draw the lines. If I could remember the name I'd post it here but I can't recall the name. There was also another that draws lines from high-lows of yesterday or number of candles you choose but I don't remember the name of that one either. Just so you know they exist but you'll have to search for them when you have time if they're important to you.

I would like to test the M1 pause trading and Exit_byM1MA in a fast and volatile market. So I will not set my accounts in closure mode on this USD interest release event. I will let the EA trade as normal, in live and demo accounts.
I do recommend you to set your terminal in closure mode right now if you do not have enough capital or if you are not using default parameter values.

Dear Bauta,

Do you currently testing verison of EG036 on USDCHF M1? I think nowadays there is big DD... What's your experience?

Interesting how this cycle reversed on me one more time. It is the reason I don't like neutralizations/hedging positions.
Note how after neutralization the price moves up to the long break even line, now we are in dip short.
This happens to me many times, I see neutralization as reversing the problem, not fixing it. Anyway, here I partially denaturalize it favoring shorts, I will neutralize again on the yellow line. I will be trailing the yellow line down using previous bar high on the H4 time frame. Let's see how much we learn from it.
Don't forget that originally we enter in trouble because scalping.

I don't plan on opening new trades for the next few trading days ... I'll just be an observer and try to learn from whatever happens or doesn't happen Mon Tue maybe Wed ... as the saying goes "... better safe than sorry ...". Some of the wealthiest people in the world have made safe trades and some have made risky trades ... you have to live with the consequences of your own decisions. I'd say if you want to play, do it on a demo account and keep your real account safe and let it grow safely while you play games on a demo.

This coming week margin requirements and leverage might change in some broker accounts for awhile until risk of higher volatility returns to normal and next weekend times might change by 1 hour that might affect some EAs (I don't think EG104 is affected).

Hi Bauta,

Few questions:
1- Which type of account would work best with default setting? ECN or Standard?
2- Is gridsizefactor 10 same as scalping (regardless of other scalping setting), i am looking for a setting something between scalping and default setting.
As you know , scalping is very aggressive setting and default setting looks little bit conservative for me. I need a balance setting between those which works best with ECN account. I know that you always prefer default setting, but what next will you recommend for a degree more aggresive?
3- One request. i wish, we could have an e-mail alert when a chart is Neutralized. My plan is setting tight neutralized setting like 30% of balance for each chart so it will leting me stop taking positions opposite of a new trend, i need to have an alert telling me when Neuttralize happened so i will watching chart closely and waiting for resuming tradeing again when that trend is over.
I will appreciate if you can help.

1- ECN may be best. Note that EG104 uses spread and commission to calculate exit orders. ECN is an small spread account but you pay commission. Standard don't pay commission for big spread. On the end both are almost the same.
2-grid factor 10 is almost like scalping. The grid factor 0 is the spread, minimum 3 pips.
3- I will revise the email alert. note that after neutralize you will need to wait days to make the cycle recover. The email will alert you but action should not be performed right away.

I do continue managing this neutralized cycle. Now I will buy 5 lots trailing at the EMA9 line. Targeting some profits.

The Maximum Orders Open feature is very rock at scalper strategy.

Hi Bauta & EG104 friends,
I'm trying to recreate with "036 forum version" and "035 MQL5 version" the goods results I had before in Backtest with "035a by forum".
I'm frustrated because I finally had a good configuration for many pair: AUDCAD;AUDCHF;EURUSD;AUDJPY (many more if you like DD between 50-60%) but I'm not able to get the same result with newer version of the EA.

Please look at here to understand what I mean.

In attach you find the setting I used for 035a.

Bauta talk in the forum to decrease the DD but the newer version does not seem to do it.
Is it possible to get the same results with the newer version of the EA?

you may set Exit_By_M1MA = false.
in situations like today, it help a bit.

Well, I tried "Exit_By_M1MA = false" but the final result is the same.

034 and 035a versions AUDJPY -> 110% GAIN 20%dd
036 version some configuration -> 80% LOSS

Unfortunately the versions of the forum could not trade in Real and using MQL5 I can only access to the latest version.
