And just because every retailer now says"gbp to 1.21-" i wouldnt be suprized if I saw a frontrun to 1.2250+ tomorrow just to trigger bunch of SLs.

Could well go to 2250 for another pump and dump. But looking at LOTS for retailers here on FF, longs outnumber shorts by more than 4/1 with 62 traders Long vs 38 Short.

What shall my favourite contraindicator produce next week? Will wait and see.

How well does it actually work for you? Talk about keeping it simple.

lol, yeah, I wish it was always that simple

But it is encouraging

I will say this though.

It never ceases to amaze me how often the statistical herd on the data page seem to have it all upside down.

Just my own observation of course...

3 days ago before the drop to 1.21 it was much worse, like 94% of open lots long vs 79% (and 59% of traders) long now. It might be interesting to read it as contra indicator when it reaches extreme values like it did.

I think we are seeing this from a similar perspective R2F - I've got the same levels marked off as you.

Sloppy sort of week again Cable and money to be made either side of the playing field. I'm up 178 pips this week trading this slop from the Long side so if that makes me one of the herd I'm okay with that ...Jab and move

I'm with you there, 80% of my profit this on GU this week is from the long side.

Given that the Statistical herd on FF has an:

Av. entry of 1.24
Av. return of -4%
Av. trade duration of 6 weeks

with:
313 Winning trades
1357 Losing trades

It does not appear you are part of the herd lol....

to be honest, I check the stats about 2-3 times a month on average just out of curiosity.
But given that I wait for key swing areas for trade and hold opportunities and also take shorter TF trades in the same direction, my observations probably do coincide with when I enter the market (or thereabouts).

High probability for 1.2050 first, then 1.2450 withing 2 weeks

But massive upside vol on this move down, so who knows

This trend line on the 30 min is still dictating the play..and for those of us with a 'long' bias..Really needs taken out
