Actually my first big loss came from catching the falling knife back in 07 when the crisis started. After that i did that mistake many times over until I learned. I also learned, that averaging down positions is ultimately WRONG (despite some top traders using it). You add to winners, not to losers.

But you can't learn trading demo only.

They will be back in a few days with new bull strategy try to convince everybody that they are right.
It was clear that this up move is so fake and without power to go really up. It was like E/U before that big drop. Spike up then down then another spike up...
But who knows where it is going now.
This is only my opinion.

I'm feathering in Longs.

That said I'm not a bull but merely trading a retrace swing off longer timeframes in GBP's demise over the past few weeks and months and my time horizon isn't 5 or 15 mins.

If Carney voice concern about the deteriorating relationship with the government, then this would be the worst outcome for the pound in my view, as the last thing as already Brexit-frazzled forex market needs now is discord between the UK authorities. it could also make it more likely that Carney will quit his post in 2018, right in the middle of the UK's Brexit negotiations.
Its not about the money, its about the game, the game between people.
