In the first chart, the Renko bars you are pointing to had been created from ticks, when you load properties and press OK, the EA starts over and all those ticks had gone away! What the EA has access to are M1 candles (no ticks), and with M1 data the most we can reconstruct is what you see on the second screen. So, everything works just fine.

Normally, we run the EA on one chart (M1 timeframe) and minimize this chart without doing anything on this chart. This way, the Renko bars will be created from ticks with the best possible accuracy.

Hello MathTrader,

Out of topic.... Is it ideal to run a dashboard containing MTF values or info from an M1 TF?

I'm new to MQL 4, and I recently noticed that a MODE_TICKSIZE returns zero or slower like a second or some milliseconds delay.

Hi MathTrader, can you assist me please?
I've been trying to attach your MathTrader7_RenkoADX_EA.ex4 EA to a non-gap M2 chart generated by your own MathTrader7_RenkoChartCreatorEA.ex4 but the RenkoADX EA fails to attach and a notice requesting a non-gap chart appears.
I've restarted the terminal.
Do you have any idea what the problem is?

Sorry if that has been resolved before, but I noticed that when using the H4, H1, or any higher time-frame chart as the original chart on which the EA is placed, the renko blocks come out smoother and with less chop. The first screen shot shows what happens when I use the M1 chart, and the second shows what happens when I use the H4 chart. This is especially interesting for when I am testing my EA, which uses the non-lag dot indicator. The prices are still synced properly so it doesn't seem to matter which chart I use on the original except for the fact that a higher time frame gives a more smooth picture. Any explanation for this or reason why this may inhibit the EA's performance? Thank you.

EDIT: Both charts use the same brick size btw and this indicator does NOT repaint.

Amazing work. Please accept my gratitude.
I found a bug on the renko creator, that the time axis has some kind of error. Please find the following screen capture:

Please find the left most time, which is 4th OCT, 2016 (today).

This is happen when close the 2Min offline chart and set the expert in M1 for different size. After that open the M2 offline chart.
This will cause the MT4 can't correctly drawing any line on the M2 chart.

Hello,

I think I know what you mean, and yes I have already developed such Renko builder that draws bricks which have the minimum size of points. Such Renko bricks represent real market quotes and price jumps much better. However, at the moment I have no plan to share my EA.
