thanks for the advice but I decided to sit this one out, could regret it after all, we will see
to me news is noise and all the talk about rate hike, election, DB, Syria, ... is just to manipulate the weak hands so big boys can get it cheaper for the next up phase which is to me about to start (climbing a wall of worry?)
Thanks guys. I am not entirely sure if yours or mine is cheaper due to the different convention. ( I am trading CFDs, and there is no defined amount per contract. I understand that is the convention in Europe. But I'm trading from Asia)

I trade really small lots.

I.e. Dax is at 10280 euros. And my 1 lot is = 25 contracts.

I usually take 0.05 lots so it's 1.25 worth of a DAX contract which is worth = 10280*1.25 = 12850 euros

12850 * 0.00015 (my commission is 0.015% per trade, not including swaps yet) = 1.93 euros


By 1 point I assume you guys mean 10280 - 10279 = 1 point. By trading 0.05 lots, I get about 1.19 euros per point.

Finally, with a spread of 1.5 points (i.e. BID 10280 ASK 10281.50), I need about 3 points before breaking even (not 4 as mentioned earlier)

1.19 * 1.5 = 1.785 euros (spread to overcome before breaking even)
1.93 euros (commission to overcome before breaking even)

1.93 + 1.785 = 3.715 euros.

Since 1.19 euros / point, I need 3.715/1.19 = 3.12 points to break even.

Hope it's not too complicated. But it's definitely a terrible deal right?
Most brokers offer max 2 point spread and no commision. So anything above this is a bad deal.

My broker offers 0.8 points spread and no commission.

US markets are right on their Y close. So no Professional GAPS here.
Maybe a pull back and hopefully up to cover the Y left single TPO blocks.

DAX and EURO STOXX waiting on their last Week POC to see what US will do.
Dive first to close the Y GAPS or run up directly to cover the Y singles.

DAX/EURO STOXX moves up ahead of the US open try to reach the Y close @ 388 (DAX)

US markets in the middle between Y close and upper to cover Y TPO singles.
What will be covered first?

Maybe today or next week to cover/fill up the pocket.
