not necessarily as it seems ,price is trapped ,current account is key with the open only 175 away but above mid pivot zone which was rejected
this candle can be consolidation def ,but look to open or low
the number we are at is week open
but I can alter the down tl to be exact now 3 point on h12 now

Did 5 trades today. Thought I would give a breakdown

1) + 46 pips on CADJPY-
Reason: was taken just after midnight as I new that Tokyo traders would want to get on in this (after missing announcement- to cut oil production)
And also there was a lot of risk off sentiment over the last week or so. And the Canadian economy is not doing well

2) -10 pips EURCAD- took a loss on this one- perhaps I should have held it.
Reason: after the drop overnight, the CPI figures for the Euro looked strong. Then I started reading some information that indicated that the cut in oil revenue was not all it was cracked up to be. So it made sense- but market did not see that when NY opened. Had I of held it - it could have been 70 pips

3) +22 pips and +14 pips GBPUSD- took these in the morning.
Reason: Basically it was a quiet day. And when its quiet I place limit orders near bank or 00 levels. Price goes towards those levels in general

4) +25 pips EURGBP- Should have got more pips, but there you go.
Reason: for this is that there is a rebate coming to the UK from Germany tomorrow.

So that's about 100 pips for day

What impact is this rebate likely to have on EG tomorrow? I have a large short exposure and haven't heard any mention of rebates!

Checked my squawk feed - and its arriving tomorrow.
Basically, the EU send money over to the UK and some months it can create a demand in this pair
It could subside later in the afternoon
The only thing I would say is that we have lots of risk events next week that could provide a more bullish outlook for Sterling
That is assuming we beat expectations
But long term the BOE are looking to cut again Carney and Shafiki have said so recently
Europe seems to be on the mend. It can also act as a safe haven.
Although Draghi sounded dovish recently- he is under pressume to not ease further - just look at the state of the Bundesbank
Also Sabine Lautenschlger seemed to be quite hawkish today
What this means is that in the medium term I think this pair will more likely trend upwards.

I'm thinking the fundamental view is flawed in some way tho i couldn't say where
till at least it hits the tl
its a major level we are at monthly has printed upper wicks
suppose it could go top of channel again,since no confirm

Nice chart, but today is Friday, 2ndly strong us data that wont go away soon until NFP, hence a range is gonna be happening btw 3000 and 28xx.
