I can contribute to the official answer by Sammih by saying that you should look into wave analysis using Fibonacci and Elliot wave theories..

Hi, like ill_be_back says, I put limit there because it is the Daily Pivot Point(PP). I have pointed out quite severally about an observation I've consistently made; the 4hr candle respects daily pivot points. If a 4hr candle crosses and closes above/below PP, its a strong sign (for me).

Secondly, I like to trade with the trend, so I put my money at the pivot point in the direction of the trend, where only a small move against me will tell me I'm wrong.

I always put my SL at 50 pips or less based on previous swings or Fibonacci levels

Finally, My TP is the lower trendline on the chart.

oh really very well done, understood, and thank you very much. now i only want to ask that when do check 4hrs candle above or below the PP because there are 6 candles in in a day so if you can explain some? and also formula to get PP? Thanks

I don't disagree but in this market my motives are more short term. I'm looking to pick up 50 pips a day, some days I get a lot more then I'll give it all back the day after. For instance today at present , I am approx. 40 pips up on Cable, 5 pips up on the Euro, 10 pips down on the Aussie (short on all three). Hopefully be the end of the day I'll make the 50 pips. Tomorrow I'll start again. I prefer not to leave my positions overnight although sometimes I do. I'll just try and follow the trend as I see it, interpret the news at the time and I may change my mind half way through the day.
