On Friday they went too long during preUS. So they have to correct the inventory during pit session. Do you see the pit session profile of Friday? It is a perfect "b" shape. Did you see the pit profile of tuesday? It's the opposite of the pit session profile of Friday. They went too long and then the leggard piled on at the top of the initial fast move. And finally yesterday and today they have been retraced with a double day liquidation. And also in these cases we got 2 well done "b" shaped pit profiles. (even though the current one is not over yet you can easily see the form is developing.)

Please note: a liquidation day can develop in something different sometime. A session can start as a liquidation or a short covering and then develops in a trend day down or up. Or at the opposite a trend day up or down, if to fast and without volume can mutate in a short covering or liquidation day. So in any case you have to monitor for continuation in a trend day and monitor for a possible "change" in the purpose of a liquidation or short covering day.. Right now current session looks like a liquidation. Let's see. (we have still a huge cluster at 3252 zone to correct if a change occurrs)

Well, right now if you could see the current pit profile you will notice that current action is still inside initial balance A-B periods. So they didn't test nor the early morning low(B period low) nor the early morning high (A period high) ...morning for US obviously. It is not a sign of great strenght. Also we have not got a single inside bar yet.
Furthermore if you consider the composite profile from 09.02 you will see that currently we are right at the POC of it. And as you know, in order to evade a major poc we need volume. A lot of volume.

Interesting thread guys. been scalping both directions for the last few hours. currently long from 3289 hoping for something around 3340. but this is a 1 min trade so watching all the time for signs of a change

Yes. Correct. But please note that the weakness here is everywhere. We are in a balance where the high is made by a pit poor high tagging a previous pit high at 34445 (extraordinary weak) and the low by a poor low right here at 3283. This market needs a shake out to escape from such a stall. (...and in the meanwhile it's back to the POC)

Nice read Lock. Im off now too - stop locked in at break even and going to have some dinner now

If my posts are off topic then please say so - i tend to run short term intraday. most trades an hour or two with a bit of scalping inbetween

trade closed b/e whilst i was writing but a nice 70 pips for the day overall
