Interesting seeing Mark Carney and the other board members being grilled yesterday, from that I get the Idea Carney is pleased with himself, saving Britain from financial disaster after Brexit...but won't really know for sometime yet if their policies have worked....

Yes and you can all say they overreacted but put yourself in their position.

I am thinking lower. But what do I know. I had an alert set to let me know when it was above 1260 which is a 50% retrace of the fib 1.1643 / 0.9080. Looking to short between 1260 /70 sl 1310

To me it looks like Euro is in uptrend so I wouldn't short from 1260, but will it take Cable with it or will Eur/Gbp steal the show?

Actually you could be right sellers might want to come in around 1270

GB opening in gap down. Let's see if can resist. The game (sometimes it happens) could be also a retracement of the gap up to 33575 and then down again from above it. But let's see.

Observation, - Range seems to be between the 100 and 200 SMA on the 15 minute chart 3328 / 3350

Note also the 50SMA looks as if it iis about to cross the 100. some times taken as a short signal.

Do not forget that yesterday was an attempted break out from monthly balance. We played at 33715 (break out level) for more then 6 hours so this was and is a relevant level also for today and the next days. Pit session closed down from it but to me, yesteerday pit session looks like a liquidation more then something more serious. The weakness above are and remain curious.

If what ramains of this gap will be retraced and you will not see immediate action in the opposite side (to the down) then you may seriously consider a confirmation inside yesterday gb range and in this case the targets are the well nown above 34215, 3423 and 3445.

Looks like it has touched todays high at 3357 and is now going down, now looking for it to get back up to 3371. Is that correct Lock?

And again, Gb eventually retraced its gap down and went exactly at yesterday gb unchanged at 3363! That now is weak. But, as you see you had an immediate action to the down... SO this market is totally ruled by weak hands that use these kind of references. Bigger timeframes have no idea whatsoever of such refs, nor do they care less of them.
