The GBPUSD pair now hit my target...

I need to practice patience or close my trades anywhere between 10 to 15 pips, and move on to the next trade...

When price was pulling back, I started to think it was a head fake, so I closed with 4 pips only.

{quote} I am still in this one with the hope of retesting last month's high (1.3371).... EDIT: If it stalls at DR1 I may get out. Your target to grab 10-15 per trade is close to my approach (15-20p)

Took the safe exit at DR1 with more than 20p...

I've been testing this method on demo for the past two months. I've tried both the initial approach of trailing 2-3 pips below/above each freshly closed candle, but I used to catch one or two big moves during a month and then miss out on 10-20 pips trades. So I realized it's more profitable to use a small TP. On top of being more profitable, it also saves a lot of time.

Hey Kostas!

I didn't have patience this time on GBPUSD, but at least I am very happy that I took the same trade as you, the one who already mastered this system!

Thanks for your comments and observations!

I very rarely look at my mailbox anymore, but I keep finding requests for paid advice. Guys, keep your money and focus on what's in here. Everything you need is in the thread. Several people seem to have figured it out, so you can do it too! "Hi Kostas, Are you still having consistent results with Choros? YES If yes, would you consider mentoring? NO I am willing to pay 50 dollars per hour. Use it to start your account! Thanks! No problem."

Few years and I still struggle ;-)
Can I get some help from you here?
Just a few questions.
You've seen my profits few weeks back. It's all wiped :/ due to my greed and overconfidence.
If you could answer these please:

- I know you started from approx 300 Euro, what was your risk per trade on beginning and at how many pips, how many trades were you doing per day? In Clay's Dance manual it says never risk more than 2 % and in other paper he says himself he risks 6% and over.

- Were you trading just one pair from the beginning?

- what is your sl?

- what was your monthly profit in % on the begining?

- after how long did you get to position when your daily profit from fx was similar to your daily earnings from full time job?

Trading with one currency is difficult sometimes. EJ stands still recently, same with EU. It is weird how my approach changes. Few months back I was giving myself several years to get nice income, now I became greedy and impatient.

Regards all
Thanks Kostas for all your support

With my small account I was trying daily 3-10% in the beginning to build the account. I would recommend 3-6% for your experience but NO more than that. Also this was per day NOT per trade, meaning that to get for example 20 pips I was doing it in more than 1 trade.
- Were you trading just one pair from the beginning? Just EU, GU but I found that I was more successful when I focused on just one (GU mostly). Nowadays, EU is just crap.... EJ is a good pair but due to BOJ interventions you need to be careful and quick. For special missions I also look at AU (look for example how nice it reacts to M15 160 which is the H4 10 equivalent).
- what is your sl? Below important points (RN, Pivots, MAs, etc.) For volatile markets I am not afraid to use bigger (sometimes more than 25pips).
- what was your monthly profit in % on the begining? See above for daily
- after how long did you get to position when your daily profit from fx was similar to your daily earnings from full time job? I don't quite remember, since my salary was quite big. It is mentioned somewhere in the thread. I kept my daily job for quite a while after that point.
Trading with one currency is difficult sometimes. EJ stands still recently, same with EU. It is weird how my approach changes. Few months back I was giving myself several years to get nice income, now I became greedy and impatient. In my opinion, you are ready to succeed IF you fight those two you have identified....
Regards all Thanks Kostas for all your support. No problem, always here for you. My suggestion, take a breath but DON'T give up now, you are close....

I feel like I am close, and don't want to quit just because I've spent nearly 6 years and over 2000 Pounds (closer to 3 probably) for topping up wiped accounts and for books. Would be pity to give up just now.
I think I am not greedy for greed, for rich lifestyle. I feel greedy for the fact that I haven't got financial safety and enough savings to cope if something wrong happens. I bet you realised I don't need millions. I want to pay off my mortgage, save some for my son's education (maybe a flat for him) and help parents and in law when they become older. Do some courses to boost my career and feel safe in case if shit arises. I'll still drive my Toyota Yaris as long as it is reliable. This plus I smell another economic crisis is coming (probably a matter of 2-3 years), and no job is safe these days.

I plan to add meditating to my life/heared it helps with trading. At the moment I try to read a lot (mostly distopian literature) and excercise. One can't think too much about trading. It is just a way of earning not the way of life for me.
As of exercises - I like kettlebells training, martial arts, calestenics training (pushups, pullups, squats)

Maybe it's midlife crisis ;-) I am 37y ;-)

Enough of me, I'll keep trying - thanks Kostas

Hi EUR USD,

every one of us has his personal story and if you struggle you are not alone, but its only a few percent you need to master then you get better and persistent in your trading. If your trades bring in more then 50% of your investment you are profitable and should master that in the long run.
In my experience with the dance the simulator gives with an hour per day enough training to master minimum 3 trade techniques of the dance in 3 months timeframe.
My favorites are the 35/50 touch and bounce and the round numbers. Also some education is on the plan like Clay suggested and with time and effort your dream will be true and you can live from it.

Have fun and stand your ground!

Stefan

Eagle Trader - it's never a bad thing to take a few pips!

Here's my first trade this morning:

AU M15 35/50 touch - took about 10 pips just under support level (triple top). Look at price move south after i got out... just in time!

Hi Eur USD,

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how you feel, I am 41y and I hate working for other people...
That's why I am so hungry to break through with trading, especially this Choros system.
Keep going, let's try to help each other in this forum.

Yes, I moved to BE when I was about 10 positive and it touched my SL.

There is USD red news in less than 1 min.

15min 50 crossover and test of 50/40 (and 10 if price goes upwards and pull the EMA to touch the candle LOL)
Also a RN support area

Let's see...

I'm about 15 pips positive and moved SL to BE.
I set the target a little below 50 RN.
I am tempted to close it if it hesitates too much to move up.
Let's see...

keep it up!

I took a quick profit long EJ earlier too... only took 12 pips, could have had 50 out of it. BUT profit is profit. I would rather take my slice than see it taken back.

I was on the sidelines for a while because my wife and I had our first son in January... been busy with a lot of things hahaha. Then August came around with low action as usual. I'm back at it now, and it's nice to see things heating up in the market after the summer holiday.

Green pips to all!
