Mmmmmmm can't get off watching here Sam 4 hour and 1 hour might have two faces if it shorts to 3350 and ranges then I will be looking at 3170 as a possible .sorry had to get that out of my head ? Lol might sleep now night guys

#GBPUSD short traded did not pan out..... got stopped out with minor loss.... cycle turn date became a dud

Pound is showing strength by taking out 1.3371 with a bull kicker.... it may head toward 1.3479ish.... I will remain on the sidelines for now... Kudos to the bulls

After the good strike of data from UK, what can we expect from the BOE to do in 15 september. Wil they do nothing and wait to see if the strike of good data continues, or will the ease anyway. My personal opinion is they will do nothing, instead they will want to see if the good data combo continues, and if it continues probably there will be no need for more easing.

Good morning,
if GB will open around here it will with a notable gap upwards. A gap generally works as a sort of substitute for the lack of excess in the profiles: so even though we have an ugly structure below with no excess and buying tales if the gap will occurrs and preserved it could work as support for further movement up side. Having written that, I've seen in my experience, big gap retraced in a metter of seconds: so tha game here is to evaluate if a possible gap will be enough to skipp the incredible weakness below or not.

Targets above are the same of yesterday evening:

  1. 34228 current Tokyo poor high cluster (cluster means more than 2 highs at the same level)
  2. 34382 Sydney high tagging yesterday pit unchanged (close price)
  3. 34445 Pit session poor high tagging previous pit high of 06.30 (extraordinary weak)
  4. 34805 July Tokyo poor high
  5. 34963-35466 old GB gap down

Below we got:

  1. 3404 current Tokyo poor low
  2. 3393 (down to) yesterday pit session minus develpment (similar to the concept of hidden gap if you like)
  3. 33015 yesterday Tokyo poor low
  4. 3252 (zone) major lows cluster: 09.02 preUS low, 09.02 GB poor low cluster, 09.01 Pit session low: extraordinary weak.

Its a very interesting area for the cable to be trading in that's for sure. My Daily Chart confirms bullish bias, I am a firm bull upto 4100. But a retest of support is imminent before any move. I dont know if what ive posted is what you are referring to. In that case seems 3480 is the only resistance before 4100( at leat on the 4hr TF)

so good going for the correction up as far possible upto 1.3800 - even 1.40+-41.max chance breaks 1.3477( likely today ), 3532, 3682 before any great fall next again, as playing with confidence in a sell areas & hold so far, got good double bottom support . should stays up for months with good monthly wicks in place. take care , fontu

I think so, but still too early to enter short at the moment. Price seems to be quite comfortable where it is at the moment. Id wait for price to break daily pivot before shorting. Secondly, this news release is a good event to trade because its not dangerous, it moves the currency in a directional move for the rest of the day so it'll be easy to trade after its been released.

I think it'll be a red figure, like -0.6%

Obviously anyone can see the attempted monthly break out upwards from August inside month of July. The break out level is at August high (GB session high) at 33715. In order to have continuation we want price confirming above that level. So this number is extremely important today.

Market profile lets you see where buyers and sellers want to do business and as Adam at my brokers tells me it gives you the understanding that trading forex can be likened to an auction....

To me Cable looks a bit top heavy and due for some pullback but if we get a good print of manufacturing and Industrial production expect Cable to go beyond 3480....IMHo
