thank you so much for all your effort you put into this thread to help other traders to succeed.
dont think there are many other displayed systems here on FF, where people are so successful straight away following your lead.

normally I`m swing trading with the trend and ofcourse looking at charts.
however with your system the trades only last for days and you force me to have a closer look at the previous candles/bars than ever before.
especially your grading of the price action (80% success rate - 60% success rate etc.) makes me to have a look again.

gbpcad, eurjpy, gbpzar all look like good setups, but my spreads suck right now due to low volume I guess. Will watch these for better spreads once Asia is going. Maybe will get better fills too if price retraces back to 5 sma alittle.

How do you come up with the percentage (80%, 60% etc) when all the trades meet the same entry criteria?

BK8 Hello, greetings and thanks for posting this strategy, which may seem so simple, has a high degree of effectiveness. Let me share with you my views to filter the best oportunidadades. I have taken the pair eur-usd and I have added an indicator to choose the best tickets, I put a stochastic (5, 3, 3) and have marked for sale only when the indicator is overbought and the price crosses the SMA as you can see, the result has been great. Other operations have not checked because the Stochastic indicator has not been overbought. I hope your appreciation and all with the urge to increase the effectiveness of this strategy. Tradiing good at all.

Thanks for your feedback, please test for some time and let us know f you really think additional indicator will not exclude good setups and adding more values.

Hi Oddbjorg , well this is 4X , no one knows for sure where the price will go..it's just probability..

I am short on E/J because all of the rules of this system are met to get in, today there are no high impact news about Euro or Yen..
Last 7 day candles ( except one ) was going up ,so I think there is no big consolidation ( like sideways ranging earlier from 08.03 to 08.26 ) .
Also I have some technical lines to check the overall channel where the price is moving and where it can boounce/reverse etc .
Decision was made ,but as I mentioned this is Forex and maybe it will hit my SL Who knows..Natural part of this "game" ..

Hi ,we are using SMA 5 with 0 Shift If you are short in E/U please be aware and look out for todays high impact news in US..

@ hoan - E/U closed beyond the 5 sma, but not a very good looking chart to trade: 6 days of sideways action, so there is no clear way forward.
from here it might go up or down.
