Thank you for sharing your simple and rather elegant trading idea. I've found it most illuminating I sold UC today and that's progressing nicely. I also sold ECH, but decided to bail out for a miniscule profit as it didn't seem to have much energy, and still doesn't, and I'm not familiar with the behaviour of the CHF. cheers M

This is a great idea and very useful, thank you.

I also like to use these pivots http://www.actionforex.com/markets/p...2010040848154/ as they are updated, and you can see by a glance where support and resistance are moving - helpful for adjusting a stop loss, if you want to move it into profit.

Another helpful tool is using the Fractal Indicator on the Daily Chart - if you have a Daily Candle crossover the SMA(5) and there is a Fractal High/Low on the previous daily candle (example - see EURCHF), then it tends to indicate no sideways behaviour, as the Fractal would indicate a swing high or low.

I absolutely agree with this. I'm an Aussie and trade AU all the time. Last month, the RBA cut interest rates and the Aussie went up - go figure. It's just not behaving as one would expect, and I would be very wary. Personally, although there are some tempting opportunities for a trade, those that involve the Aussie are not on my radar until after the RBA decision, cheers M

Thanks @FX-Flux for the scripts. I finally downloaded these to the desktop mt4 and they work excellent. Just took the daily 15-30 minute process down to around 1-3 minutes for scanning purposes! Excellent work!

From last nigth 18 hours ago, when I tried to set up my trade.

eur chf long + pip, eur short +pips, eur cad long + pips, usd cad long + pips.
I don't know how to see how many pips was in the trade after I closed the trade, so I can not tell you.

I forgot to put sl on my nzd cad short. And then since then I have been shaking. And then I just thougth Well, ok let it run then - for the teaching at least.
But now it has turn to + pips. Is now on 10 pips.

Thank you ... you "adults" for teaching us "children".

Hi Oddbjorg , you can check how many pips you " earned " by looking in the history of your trades at which price you enetered the trade ,then check at which price the trade was closed and just simple calculate how many pips you got . For example I opened my trade at 1.000 and closed with profit at 1.020 - so you earned 20 pips..you can check it if you want

Thanks for this great system. I took the USDCAD trade for my first trade. I love the simpleness of this system and that it only take about 15 minutes to analyze the market and make decisions. Over the last 5 years I've tried many systems, paid for EAs and signal services. All of them have cost me more than I gained. This system is by far the easiest to follow. Another great attribute is not having to constantly monitor the market. I'm going to be more active in this thread and hopefully contribute meaningfull analysis. As a community we can all help each other be the most profitable as possible and avoid trades that are the less likely to be profitable. Have a good day everyone. 😎

Here's something that might help..I usually put this on a blank chart.
