Yes, maybe rebound on 1.3120, but the key point is the neckline (news in 2 hours will define this).

There's an option expiry(Vanilla) 1.3100 for Gbp/Usd (GBP 787M) for Friday and I'm guessing it's the NY cut but what we don't know is if it's a buy or sell but I'm predicting the 3100 area will be defended

But two days is a long time in Forex.....

It could spike to 1.36 if Traders get the idea the US Fed has been lying all year and won't raise rates, otherwise if UK economy picks up then maybe next year but if UK economy goes down then like you said 5 years or longer.
But GBP always has a way of surprising even the most seasoned of Traders....

That triple bottom at 3060 area on the 4 Hour chart could be an ominous sign for anyone holding shorts....trade what you see and not bias..

Also price now above the 20 and 50 EMAs on 4 hour chart...

On daily chart the pair is ranging and i don't think think will see a brake trough 1.29 or 1.34 levels in September at least.
