here to answer a few PMs, - what is PPA? - how to identify PPA? PPA=Previous Price Action. .. already mention in previous post. one of the PPA I look for is: - look for price trends and when it ended either in consolidation or reversal, - a trend is when the APB reverses and change colour and continues above or below the 5EMA, Typical Price, Shift+3 (this is basic TMS), - the trend must run for 3 to 8 APB candles of same colour ( one of TMS trader belief) - look at big candles and small candle, then the trend after big and small candles. Example...

Hi Emmanuel,

I note you mentioned 3 bar setup here, which I believe it is PCRF. I searched all history of this thread, and found several charts to explain what PCRF is. However, the definition is quite vague. Use bearish turning to bullish as example.

- Some said it is formed of 3 bars, some said it is 4 bars.
- Some said bar2 must make LL, others not
- Some said bar2 should be a hammer, others not
- Some said bar3 or 4 should be HH than bar 2, some said should be HH than bar 1&2, and some said the close of bar 3 should be higher than the high of bar 1&2
...

Could you see if there is a clear definition? Or just share yours?

Good Morning, Folks,

trade with caution... today and everyday.
preservation of your trading capital is most important.
its a brand new week but it also month end mid week.
the finance chiefs have spoken at Jackson Hole, we shall see the impact in the months ahead.
last Friday was the usual - to create Fear and Greed in the market place for we retail traders.
trading this spot forex market requires us to have full emotional control over ourselves.
do not let anything affect your emotions when you are trading.
do not let what anyone say affect your emotions when you are trading.
know what your trading tasks are when you are trading.
simply focus on your peak performance in performing your trading tasks.

something for your soul:

USDCAD Week 35:

We retail traders are all prey in this brutal market because we are trading blind. We are blind because we cannot see where all the orders are to be filled. We are technical traders depending on indicators telling us where to buy and where to sell. Only the smart money moves the market. The smart money knows where the herd orders are. At every price level is where the danger lurks. The smart money is the predator in this market.

What do we do as TMS traders?
Look at Previous Price Action PPA at every possible price levels on our charts.
Support and Resistance are the traders perception. They are not real until they happen.
Sellers create resistance when they overrun the Buyers.
Buyers create support when they overrun the Sellers.
We sell when we see Sellers.
We buy when we see Buyers.
We are always lagging the market because we cannot move the market.
We do not predict where it will reverse until it happens, we are always late.

It is about setups, entries and exits.... all the time. Think of low risk ideas when we trade TMS. Make your money work for you. Limit your floating drawdown DD, do not tie up your money in floating DD but rather use your trading capital wisely because there are always low risk setups.
