I would like to take some words, if you mind...
First. Look at the picture (4H) below. You can see the blue stripe, the hidden gap from 3185 to 3225. We are closing it - unexpectadly it is being closed fast enough, I must say. But, we have the Asian Initial Balance (where is LOCK indeed?) to be wide - actually it is wider that the YEAR's average. It means that the London IB will be wide as well and the day will be mixed, with no conventional move (however the GU pair is artful one). Moreover, it is possible that the Asian session has already made the high of the day.
Second.
Your target is still valid. But actually, it is possible that we might not get there today.
It is a very interesting view. It is nice for me to get there (1,3600). Have you had additional technical of fundamental thoughts (proofs maybe) to expand your vision?
It is interesting what USDollar does say on this subject...

I've been out all afternoon and now just back at my desk to be pleasantly surprised that my Cable trade is still running. I locked in some profit but my target is 1.3310. I am going to leave running over night.
Yes or even higher to 1.36 after Jackson Hole. The Fed does not want to crash the economy with a stronger dollar in an election year. I expect a BIG fake here. GBP/USD and EUR/USD will start to take a beating over the next 2 days. USD/JPY will rise. Then on Friday..... WHAM! The USD will be smashed down and GBP/USD will be heading to 1.36.
It is interesting what USDollar does say on this subject...
#GBPUSD yesterday and today was a potential cycle turn on pound. yesterday cycle was a dud, and today we put a high @ 1.3272.... if we take out 1.3272 I will go long....but if we dont could turn for a correction. other dates to keep watch on your calendar is 8-26-16 & 8-29,30 for a potential swing pivot high.... I will be watching pound with an alert to see if we take out highs..... {image}
