There was a lot of squeezing going on last week and with that strong data it can easily go few hundred pips in a straight line.

Hi
i was going to sleep when i recieved an email from a friend asking about compounding without stop loss trading

well

it is like a bank, you will pay some fees to lose some trades but the profit from the other trades should 10 times more than these loses

conditions to make compunding

well

momentom on high end above 100 for sell or momentum less than 98 for buy

here is an example

be aware that your compounding profit should not be greedy

i use 50 points

here is an example from my real live account

pair is gbp/aud

you also must be ready for opposite move of the price bcz the broker or the other some front desk playres will try to make you loose if you make stop loss

Hi all, I am new to forex. Can anyone tell me why a slightly higher than expected cpi inflation figure this morning reversed the cable downtread? Surely higher inflation devalues a currency, at least according to every economic article I have ever read.

I'm assuming you are talking about UK CPI numbers? Inflation is bullish for a currency but it's not as easy as saying inflation = good for a currency, you need to understand the whole picture especially when you're trading the news.

Interest rate expectations drive currencies

In general higher inflation- means a greater likelihood of rates being raised or not cut- which increases the value of a currency

P.S. The following target is 3128 (the Daily VPOC of 16.08.05 and the Weekly POC of 16.07.24 - almost month ago).
P.P.S. The day is over. The point of 3055 (+3) is Daily Resistance Level 3 (it is above Weekly Resistance Level 1) and the second standart deviation band of the daily VWAP. The price is being settled down right over at this place - this fact tells us about the strong bullish momentum and the forcoming uptrend.
