Ahhhhhh nice to see some green for a change....and great to see that blood sucking pair E/G getting slammed....lol

Green across the board on Data too....which is pretty amazing after all the doomsayers hammering Cable, yet before Brexit Cable was starting to print some good financial figures...

What was really interesting about this trade is that UK traders dumped Cable - to yesterdays London's 4pm fix price- before rallying it up

This is something I am not used to Cable going north

If the FOMC minutes are dovish - I am expecting US CPI figures - to miss expectations

Main reasons - lower gas prices in US and discounting by retailers

Well we got 3 hours before US news, be good if it can get to 3030 before then....

Actually - went long last night and all the data seems to see Cable being long
Purely based on too much strength on dollar- (poor GDP, PPI Services & Retail Sales) a concern
Cable down 500 pips
With the catalyst being CPI today

Agreed, but I'd wait a bit longer due to strong movement upward and potentially weak US data coming. And I say that as a long term bear. With that said though, ranging is not impossible at this point. We could be in a eur/usd type of scenario until something big happens. Hopefully the drop in the exchange rate will prove beneficial to GBP and the citizens in the UK. Everyone there is hurting bad.

Definitely, I think many econ guys/gals saw it coming but everyone else had their minds blown. When you think about it a rise in prices made a lot of sense. That's what made me flip the trade. Lower pound=higher import costs

Lets see if price can hold above the weekly pivot at 1.2970, next targets would then be 1.3038 and 1.3166.
