i can not understand cable

when usd number at 4:30 is low, by logic, gbp/usd will go north-long
but it went south

There is nothing about that news that would really move cable. Only really major or unexpected news move currencies, most of the other movements are either predetermined or technical (like now). Both technical supports were mentioned here several times, one got already hit (.2870).

Just look at the trade stats detail for gbpusd. It nearly always tells the same story in relation to the trend. The trend is indeed your friend.

Well it wasn't just Cable that headed south after news, Euro did same and probably pulled Cable lower....Why? I dun know because even thou it's low impact news it's some sort of bellweather according to forexlive.....
