#GBPUSD 1x2 has been support for pound now.... in the red but not by much..... pound is having a tough time trying to stay above 1.3322... lets see how it does the 2nd time around... still long pound

Example: Yesterday BOE news influence great amount of move yesterday when we had :
This report includes the BOE's projection for inflation and economic growth over the next 2 years. The BOE Governor also holds a press conference to discuss the report's contents after release;
Followed by : Usual Effect More hawkish than expected = Good for currency; THEN THE PRICE MOVED UP YESTERDAY. anyone could check yesterday's calendar.

As for today: At 9:00am +1GMT EUR Italian Industrial Production m/m
The report: Change in the total inflation-adjusted value of output produced by manufacturers, mines, and utilities;
Actual > Forecast = Good for currency; And the price moved a bit from 3125 UP till its current momentum.

The Next new on the calendar is: 1:30pm +1GMT CAD Employment Change
Why trader care: Job creation is an important leading indicator of consumer spending, which accounts for a majority of overall economic activity;
Actual > Forecast = Good for currency;

Now that the current price is at 1.3164. As others have said earlier this morning that the price could get to 3250 and with help of other predictions online.

I feel We are heading NORTH for some few period of time.


ANYONE HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT THIS.?

Im currently short. Based on technicals, price should reject the resistance. So I say we might see over 200K #NFP

It would be a great system if you could maintain it but what GJ doesn't take into consideration is it's your own mind that you have to fight sometimes, the emotions that come up to do with money(fear & Greed) and then life in general.....how you gonna feel trying to trade when you just broke up with your partner or your dogs just been run over etc...

This is allowing 20 days a month to trade....

Great questions!

Many years ago I gave up watching at news as options to give me an exact direction to buy or sell.

Now I am watching at news to have them as triggers to shift supply/demand ratio. I am not trying to find direction today.

Did I buy the low of the H period? No I didn't. But At least I was not in the mess of the initial periods of this session trying to go somewhere up or down, loosing my financial and psychological capital.

Just like yesterday I thought we were going to push higher before NFP....to 3200, and yesterday to 3400 for BOE....just got to trade what I see....

it might gonna be just BOE vs NFP, what if the NFP goes bad, would GU recover all its lost pips, or the cut rate is stronger than any NFP bad data?
