This is one of those days where you can feel that it will spike higher. No big events and a PM whose is talking about working together with EU. The GBPUSD gapped up when it was announced that she would become PM, momentum on that event is still there. I would say it has the room to move to 1.33 today.

Frustrating price action with Cable, it's like everyone has become very cautious with no excitement about why they are trading and zero confidence....that's my observation because price action early Euro session looked very good for gains to yesterdays highs then it petered out....

Look at the picture below. Take a note of UP bars at the lower boundary of Volume Area Monthly. As you can see buyers are coming at the VA low.

Technically we have triangle as well.

These arguments give me a piece of thinking of the possible breackthrough to be rather UP.

Mayly-May if your swaps killing you then short the rallies to cover your GBP/USD longs....So short between resistance and support as many times as needed to cover your long positions but that's up to you..

C'mon, C'mon C'mon rally up you pig.......LOL

Apparently there's been end of month money flows into Eur/Gbp, happens every month, so with Eur/Gbp of it's highs now we might see this thing rally a bit.....

I'm long 3172 ATM and talk about having to hold my nerve....

3150 cannot resist in my opinion. But all this session has been controlled by very weak hands. So a more than probable removal of 3150 does not mean necessarily continuation to the downside. Anyway if price will go down in the last 2 periods (as a spike) we will find the upcoming preUS session in a possible gap below yesterday range. In that case, considering the new participants to the market stepping in with the us session, the conviction that we have not seen during gb could come with them. And even without a gap down, we cannot forget all the incredibly week pit references below.
At the same time we cannot forget, for the same reasons regarding the weakness of this environment, that we are leaving behind a lot of weak references. At 3181 (current open plus hb tagged twice), at 3193 previous hb plus yesterday open tagged twice too. And finally the poor high at 32165 that has also been tagged by today Tokyo high.

Note price tagging again 3181. Now 3181/2 and 3150 clusters are notorius. They have not a lot of possibilities to survive during upcoming price activity.
